About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This late model 3B includes a government plate. Is that a late model Willys Overland top?
“1964 Willys CJ3B Highhood
Original F head Hurricane engine runs and can maintain an idle and sounds solid. The brakes are all there but will need some work. The clutch, transmission and transfer case all seem fully functional.
Rare Willys full hard top with hard doors and roll up windows.
The tub has significant rust throughout.”
“1948 CJ 2 A for sale. Titled at a 48 but has older body. Was told it is mid-40s. Has 4-134 flat head engine. 4 wheel drive. In low low this thing will go through anything. New Solex carburetor, fuel pump, fuel regulator and HEI distributor. Runs and drives. Great restoration project. I have too many projects going and need to sell this one.”
(05/13/2015) “1946 Jeep Willy’s CJ2-A. It has a 327 Chevrolet under the hood with full sized axles. 3:73 gearing front and rear. Full roll bar. 5 ppint harnesses in racing seats. It’s not perfect but it is an awesome ride. 85% tread on 33″ BF mud terrain tires, including a spare that is 100% tread. Motor is strong and runs great. I hate to get rid of it but I am moving across the country and can’t afford to bring it with. 4,000 OBO..”
“1961 Willys pickup. Runs and drives. I have just overhauled the brakes on all 4 wheels: new drums, shoes, springs, adjusting hardware and wheel cylinders. I have a new master cylinder but am sick of laying in the dirt to work on this truck. Installed 4 new front wheel bearings and new front spindle lock washers & nuts. All new wheel lugs and lug nuts. Changed the left side to right hand threads. Previous owner installed split windshield. This year vehicle does not need a title in Vermont.”
“i have had this willey jeep since childhood(55yrs.) it has been in storage and not really used for the last 15 years it has been a family treasure i just put new brakes and rubber on it 5 years ago it runs fine it has been painted from its original color to red, it does well in the parades!”
(04/23/2015) “A father and son project that has not been touched in a long time.
Flat fender willys with correct hood and tailgate. I believe the running gear is from a 1969 CJ5 Jeep
Has front disk brakes, power steering, Buick odd fire engine. It was running last year. Tow bar, 2 sets of front seats, a roll bar, Holley 4 barrel. Bed liner on the inside and underside. The front floor pans have been replaced.
It has a clean title out of the system.
No low ballers I will except offers in person.
You will need a trailer it is not legal to be towed
Email me your phone number and I will get back to you. Dumb questions will not get a response.
This is a project, You will not be able to hear it run. Blown accelerator pump.
The Honda seats do not go with it…”
“A project I will never see finished. Runs. The running gear is out of 69 Jeep so it is a 231 odd fire Buick/Jeep motor.
The motor has double valve springs with a Holley 4 Barrel. The carb is rebuilt from Holley. During our ownership we disassembled the motor and replaced all the gaskets.
The tub has new floors in the front, the back is clean. The inside and underside has a bed liner nice clean look. Has a roll bar Smitty.
