About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Roberto spotted this model for sale from the Czech Republic. It’s advertised as a CJ-3B/M-606 model, but I don’t see much M-606 elements here. It costs 39.00 Euro (Approx $43.00)
Blaine discovered this possible CJ-2L that was auctioned off last weekend. The auction occurred just north of where I live, but, unfortunately, we didn’t learn about he auction until today.
I called one of the men responsible for the auction. He had some images of the jeep saved to his phone, so he forwarded them to me. He couldn’t remember who bought the jeep. These are the first photos I’ve seen of the underside of an extended CJ-2A. In this case, the extension was done poorly and looks more like a backyard extension than that of a dealer.

“This is the most coveted Jeep there is. The majority of the Jeep has been restored. It has sat in my garage for 14 years and it’s time to sell it to someone who can appreciate it. It does start but has a knock in one of the Pistons. The interior was professionally sprayed with linex and the majority of the exterior has been restored and painted. The paint has cracked in a couple placed where there is a seam between body parts. Overall, this Jeep is beautiful! It wouldn’t take much to make it amazing.
The motor was rebuilt in 2001 and after 500 miles a piston started knocking. I parked it in the garage and it’s been there ever since. It’s been converted to 12 volt and I had a 2 barrel carb put on. It has a Clifford header new wheels and tires. I also put a tuffy center consol in it. Otherwise this Jeep is stock.”
Not a DJ or an FJ, but some one may be interested in this for mail deliveries.
“Runs like a little demon. Can’t kill these AM General’s 🙂 This one has original everything, decent body, runs great, some rust here and there and has been used at a US Postal Service Center I own. Making room for a new advertising vehicle. This can be converted to a food truck (Ice Cream Van would be cute) or simply a work horse once you tune her up and clean her up a bit. I put the postal logos back and the truck is sold as is with everything on her including the interior guts that the post office equipped her with. To the comedians who think you can buy a car/truck just for the title, you would be wrong. It’s against the law (and it’s fraud) to attempt to title wash a vehicle. You have been blocked from bidding.”
UPDATE: *Status Unknown** Was $2000. Pics provided. It’s not a 1943. It’s VEEP-like, but I can’t tell if this is a VEEP.
