I haven’t seen many of the hardtops shown in this brochure. The passenger side door (that is, the left hand door) is particularly unusual.

Looks like a beautiful build.

“very nice ’53 willys highhood, gm 225 v6 odd fire engine, 3 speed with warn overdrive, warn hubs, bfg tires with matching spare, aluminum wheels, front bumper with 8000 lb warn winch, rear bumper with swing out jerry can holder and spare tire holder. power steering and tilt column, disc brakes, mechanical lockers in diffs. runs great. you dont see many in this good of condition around, look at the pictures they speak for themselves.”

Glenn spotted this jeep. Lots of pics and info on eBay.

“This particular early model year ’62 Jeep FC-150 4×4 truck was found in dry storage in the corner of a Texas barn by the current owner. It was last registered on the street in 1998 after some mechanical restoration efforts by the previous owner(Hurricane-4 Engine Rebuild) . Today it runs out strong and drives down the road, goes through the gears and is an overall solid and enjoyable FC-150 as is or could be restored to the level of your choosing. It has been lightly used around the farm and stored in a nice concrete floor shop here at the Texas owner’s private residence.”

Looks in good shape.

“1961 Willys wagon, original flat head inline six called the “super hurricane” This rig is mostly all original and runs really good. Has a PTO winch that works just fine. Everything works on this Willys.
I would like to trade for a 1st generation Isuzu Trooper (the square ones) but it’s gotta be a pretty nice one. Open to trades for an interesting classic car like a Nash or something cool and od. Or cash works too. ”

“1947 Willys Overland “Jeep” 2-wheel drive station wagon model 4-63
In late 1946 Jeep introduced the first all steel body station wagon, supposedly because of the advances in steel manufacturing and rolling perfected during WWII. Before that time all station wagons were “woodies”, with wooden side panels. I purchased this Jeep in 1972, with 52,000 miles on the odometer, in San Francisco from the original owner, a taxi cab driver who only drove it on vacation. It then became a semi – daily driver until about 19 years ago where it retired in my driveway due to insurance costs and a growing family. I have changed the oil and started the Jeep periodically, however the carburetor needs some work. It runs if gas is dribbled into the carburetor.
