About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1961 Willys CJ6 jeep for sale, clean title. I have had this jeep for over 30 years but it is time to let it go. I no longer have use for it and would like it to go to someone that will us it! It runs like a champ have had the carburetor, original PTO winch, engine rebuilt back in 2007-2009. Everything in working condition. I have documentation on all of it.”
(01/22/2016) Seller is deaf, so he doesn’t want calls.
“My father passed away in November. I’m reposting this as I need to sell this fast. I’ll accept offers below $4k, but preferably above $3,500.
I’m selling this rare Jeep Willy CJ-a because my father has pancreatic cancer with only two months left to live. We’ve been treating it as an amazing project, but as you can see, it isn’t finished.
It runs well. It needs general check-up, brake shoes, wipers, and fuel float. Other parts are in excellent to good condition.
However, the motor isn’t true to the vehicle itself – It is a 1974 Ford Mustang Pinto’s engine. This is compatible and runs well.
Depending on your tastes, it might need to be repainted and a new cover.
The selling price is $4,000 OBO. We will accept best offers but, please do try to not low-ball us. We are aware of how rare it is. It will come with two Jeep Willy CJ-a manuals.”
My lovely wife took me to my cousin’s party tonight. The good news is I had a few drinks. The bad news is that, because of the drinks, there will only be a few updates today 🙂
“Selling my 1978 Willys Ice Cream Truck. We are downsizing. It’s a great runner. Needs about $600 in transmission work says my mechanic. I’ve priced this for a quick sale. When the weather changes and you turn on the Ice Cream Music the people come running to the curb for the ice cream treats.”
“Excellent body condition. Never any rust and no dents or dings. Was repainted. Original metal body mint condition. Motor runs excellent. Low mileage. Was garage kept”
“1948 Willy’s cj2a not perfect but looks decent runs good and very fun. All stock but wheels. Have military top but never have put it on. Solid frame. Body patched. Might need a battery”
“1976 DJ-5 postal jeep this is right hand drive. The little jeep still has the mail tray. It has a 232cu engine and a rebuilt 727 transmission. It has a new fuel pump, water pump, battery, and the radiator has been redone. Has all new brakes an master cylinder. The tires are in decent shape. Runs good”
