Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The engine is out.
“1947 willys cj-2a, has normal willys rust in the floor pan/ tool box, engine is out and needs rebuilt, all running gear in good shape, have all parts to put back together, entire body bedlined. If your looking for a restoration project this probably isn’t what your looking for unless you are an expert in bedliner removal. However if you want something to toodle around in just rebuild the engine and go.”
UPDATE: Thanks to Josh for alerting me that Sunday night Craigslist was hacked, which brought down the site. Therefore not many posts this morning.

The button celebrates the 26th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

2 1/2″ round button shows Mickey Mouse driving a jeep with Goofy at his side holding a camera and Donald Duck holding on at the back. All three are wearing Safari outfits and Pluto is running along side the Jeep. Happy 26th Birthday in red letters at the top and Walt Disney World in Black letters at the bottom.

“This 1958 Willy’s Jeep FC-150 is mostly complete. It runs and drives his but needs brake work to be finished.
The Good….
This jeep is complete and running
I recently had the starter motor rebuilt
The engine runs smooth with no smoke (I was told by the former owner that the engine has been recently rebuilt).
The Gas Tank is there and appears to be restorable
the cab floors are rusty but no big holes
All the glass is there, Windshield is in good (not great) condition
A plow ( not in working condition is included in the sale)
The engine cover is there and in good shape
The pickup box is all there, but would need to be completely restored.
I have a clear Michigan title (that matches the VIN Plate) in my name

Willys made a showing at an international oil show. The Jeep-A-Trench and Jeep-A-Drill were particularly interesting to the participants. This appeared in the May 1955 issue of Willys News.
