This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/24/2015) This runs and includes a plow. It has an odd mod on the rear wheel wells.
“Who wants a winter project? I’ve stored this vehicle for over 10 years thinking I would fix it up but I just do not have the time or passion for it. It ran when I parked it in the garage although I believe it needs a water pump because it would overheat when ran for a longer length of time. Includes a mount and snowplow that the previous owner used with the vehicle. I need garage space for my wife’s vehicle and do not want to store it any longer. I have the vehicle title. Cash only, $1500 or best offer.”

(11/05/2015) I’ve seen this up close. It’s a solid truck that has potential.
“This is a 1952 Willys flatbed truck. Has a Studebaker v8 engine but does not run. It has dings and scratches and some cracked glass but minimal rust. Has been kept in a barn for the past 25 years.”
This August 4, 1945, article in the Toronto Daily Star shares the story of an overseas soldier mailing home a jeep in pieces. Perhaps more impressive, a second soldier was mailing home an entire dental office.
It has a good starting price.

“1945 Jeep, Runs and drives good. Recently had new radiator installed and a few other things. I am not a military collector nor a mechanic. I’ve had it for about 6 months and seldom drive it. There is a hole in the hood that is covered with camo net I have a firm price of $7500.00. ”

“See pics for a list of repairs/maintainance that was done in June. Also has a brand new battery. It comes with a back bench seat, but it is not currently bolted down. Seats are in great condition and covered with Mossy Oak Duck Blind camo. All new tires – have less than 1,000 miles on them. Windshield folds and locks down – no cracks. Has front tow bar. Is registered and plated as an antique vehicle in Texas – good until 2018. All lights work – headlights, interior, and brake. Comes with 2 notebooks full of schematics/information as seen in pics.”
