This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The Techatticup Mine camp was established 1861. The camp is part of the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. Now a tourist attraction, it includes an old Willys truck and, in some photos, a wagon.
The Techatticup Mine camp is located just outside the small town of Nelson Nevada in Eldorado Canyon. It is well reviewed on Trip Advisor. Businesses in the area offer historical mine tours and scenic blue water kayak trips on the Colorado River at the mouth of Black Canyon below Hoover Dam.

On July 12,1947, Lewiston Evening Journal out of Maine published this neat ad. Several other newspapers across the US also published the ad.

(10/31/2015) Seems like a good price.

“1967 CJ5. Original engine, body, transmission. Recent paint on body and top. Kelly steel top with doors. Glass in good condition. New shocks, gas tank, fuel pump, water pump. Runs and drives. Body solid. Includes roll bar and set of wagon wheel rims.”
