Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This runs, drives, and includes a PTO. It’s got cancer, but a body can be had pretty cheaply.

It’s a project.
“Needs to be restored or just fixed up don’t have the time to do it as much as I’d like to. It’s got the 4 cylinder motor and 3 speed tranny with 4wd. Was told motor runs but the starter needs rebuilt, needs tires due to dry rot. Comes with extra grill and headlights and some more parts I work in mesquite texas but go to mena Ar often so could pick up and bring back if buying. “

I believe this is a fiberglass body. The jeep was listed for sale a few years ago.

The UW sits on the shore of Lake Mendota, so this photo might not have been taken too far from the University. I never got into ice-fishing when I lived in Madison, but lots of others enjoyed it.
