About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I purchased this 1951 Willys CJ-3A from a Willys enthusiast in Prescott, Arizona. At the time, I planned to buy a cabin in Prescott and store it there, to enjoy on weekends. My plans changed, and the Willys is in my garage in Phoenix. I am not able to use it like I planned. I love the little thing and don’t have to sell it, but someone should own it who can use and enjoy it as these vehicles were meant to be used and enjoyed.
“1946 Jeep Willys first year civilian for sale. Has been partially restored. The speedometer needs to be replaced. Runs and drives great! Clean title in hand. New electronic distributor, new carburetor and rebuilt starter.“
“Professonally rebuilt from the ground up. 1948 Willys Jeep. Motor, transmission, transfer case and both axles completely rebuilt. New brakes, new clutch, new brake lines, new exhaust, rebuild starter, rebuild carb, new water pump, new fuel pump , new shockes, new alternator, new clutch, new steering system, and New American made firestone Military tires on freshly bead lasted and powder coated old stock rims. Newly bead blasted body parts primed and painted stock blue color. Tub and tailgate are new from Omix built to OEM specs and I must say they are. Went with 3a tub instead of 2a in order to upgrade and gain extra 2″ of seat room between steering wheel and seat back. All new wires, gauges, cables and controls. Old stock seat frames refinished and recovered. All new rubber and all new glass.”
This runs, drives, and includes a PTO. It’s got cancer, but a body can be had pretty cheaply.
“1959 Willy’s Jeep for sale. As shown in the pictures the jeep has quite a bit of cancer. The Jeep is a 3 speed manual transmission with a PTO Winch. It runs and all drive train is in great condition. There are all kinds of aftermarket parts for these style jeep’s.”
“1953 Willys Jeep. Has had a V6 put in and converted to a 12 volt starter. Runs great, starts right up. Warn winch. Newer front hubs. Has typical Jeep rust for its age. Solid old jeep. No title but shouldn’t be too hard to get one if you do the paperwork.”
