This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Own a piece of American History! I am sadly selling my 46 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Motor runs great. Body is in not too bad of shape because prior owner under coated entire thing. Excellent for hunting, ranching, farming and forest exploring. Motor has been converted to AC. Wanted to restore it someday, but just don’t have time. I also have military sticker kit. Has collector plates as I used to drive it on roads during summer. Have to see and drive to appreciate. Don’t let this one slip away.”

“55 m38a1 jeep. Runs but a wire is broken on the distributor. I do not have time to fix. But everything else works well. Furl pump was rebuilt last year. Was used at the coefield ranch. There is no title or vins on tub but has vin on engine. Has the original 24 volt system and two brand new battery’s. Speedo still works”

(12/24/2013) “51 willys / jeep cj2a [flatfender], 09/10 frame off redo , modern jeep 4 cyl motor [pre injection].. less than 5k miles since redo . needs a few things [emergency brake lever] , old brake system [I planned to add power brakes and steering , but never got around to it] , could used a going thru on the front hubs [they locked when I bought t but don’t now , re-grease and clean] . runs very good , gets good mileage , plenty of power ..”
