“1958 Willys Jeep p/u, model FC150. New brakes, drums, seals. Have new wiring harness, rebuilt lights have all original windows, new windshield gasket. Original seats crappy, good used seats. Ran before I removed the gas tank, tank is very funky. New front hub locks. No miles on brakes or hubs. Non op pink slip. Got it to restore, but beyond my skills.”
Ann photographed these two jeeps on I-80 as she drove west. She finally comes home today after being gone a month. Yeah! (Sorry about the smashed bugs obscuring the view)
This has the short nose, so it’s most likely a pre-1972. It’s an odd one!
“The car is a clean example of a self assembled woody wagon. this is a one of a kind model .I am not the original owner , it was purchased in 2013 in Pembervlle Ohio. The body work was done by a retired highway patrol officer. that had a lot of time on his hands. I would like any interested buyer to inspect the vehicle before purchase”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800
(10/05/2015) Looks in good shape.
“This 1947 Willys Jeep has the original “Go Devil” engine and transmission (135 HP/4 cyl). Original seats with lap seat belts added for safety. It runs great, is in great shape and is fun to drive especially in off- road conditions (top speed is about 45mph). The Willys Jeep was originally designed for and used by the US Military and was later sold for farm and civilian use. This would be a fun rig to restore or leave as is. ”
