The April 1955 issue of Willys News featured this report in the April 1955 issue of Willys News.

“1955 Willies Jeep Pickup.
Chevy V8 Engine
70,000 Miles
In good condition.”
Has a tranny problem, but still looks like a very good price.
“66 CJ6 Jeep with Powerful Dauntless v6 motor, 3 speed manual transmission, Bestop Tiger Top removable soft top or just remove the doors. Super strong motor and good heater in the winter. Starts first time every time. The CJ 6 is a classic long wheelbase jeep with heavy duty running gear. The transmission isn’t working for me in 1st gear but still drives in 2nd and 3rd so test driving is still possible. 4×4 is still testable and works well.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(09/08/2015) It’s a little camera shy, but looks in good shape. May have a replacement body.

“1947 Willies Overland, Nova sub-frame, 350/350, comes with surfboard, great cruiser, phantom gages, upholstery very clean, Awesome conversation piece of history, blast to drive”
It runs and drives. Has a PTO, snow plow and top. body is rough.
“This is an old Jeep that will need some work. It is rough and rusty but the body is not laying on the ground. The Jeep does have some nice OEM extras. Including an original PTO that drives the front winch. Also has an old plow that I think may have come with the Jeep. It is just a manual turn and hyd. lift with the original jeep pump. Also has an original top and doors. Jeep will start and run fine day and the next time it goes to start may or may not start. So it will need some attention. Not sure what the problem is but it is still an original 6 volt system. May need new tune up parts.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1950
Glenn spotted this one. It doesn’t run, but looks promising as a project.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
Might make a good project.
“This is among the rarest of all the Willys jeeps. This is a 1951 panel delivery and there were only 154 made. This one came to me in a lot of cars I bought. I had to buy all of them to get the one I wanted so I ended up with others that I’m going to sell. This cool old ride has a 1971 model 302 Mustang engine and transmission, as well as a Ford 8” rear end (with 2.79 gears). All I’ve done under the hood since I’ve owned it is rebuild the carburetor and replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump and changed the oil & filter. The engine starts right up and runs good. The transmission works just as it should also. I put a new master cylinder on it but only have rear brakes. I believe that the front wheel cylinders are seized up. I bought rebuild kits for the front wheel cylinders but have not had time to rebuild them.
