About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“’45 Willys Flat Fender Jeep — a true piece of history! But it is a project.
Very rusty / not running BUT come with 2nd original tub and Xtra parts.
I have about 20 additional photos but I am having trouble attaching them to this ad. If you contact me, I will send them to you.”
Craig shared this ad. It looks like there’s some floor rust (you can see the ground, but there seems to be value here.
“1947 Willys Station Wagon, Very Original, Excellent project, Rare 2-wheel drive, has overdrive, comes with several new panels to eaze restoration, engine is said to have ran, head is currently off, an getting the “Marvel” treatment,”
“I have a nice little restoration project for sale, Its a convertible and no holes in the body just minor surface rust. I do have some parts for the restoration. It has a new chevrolet motor and tranny never been started in it. Great project for the right collector or family ??”
There appears to be value here. It’s listed as a 1974, but it is pre 1972.
“For Sale is a Jeep Willys that needs a lot of care. However if you spend and time and effort i’m sure is it would be amazing. Have clean title in hand, must come and pick it up.”
“This is a 1951 Willys Overland Jeepster. I bought it to turn into a hot rod, but ran into another that was partially built, so this one became a parts rig. It has no floor and no steering column. I have most of the trim for this as well as the windshield, seats (most) and the top. These are known for their very solid frames which have a LARGE X brace in the middle, so you can add your horsepower with little worry. For an extra $300 I’ll throw in an AMC Pacer front suspension I was gong to install. It’s a nearly perfect fit and gives you independent front suspension, power rack and pinion steering and disc brakes, much better than the original transverse left spring setup. The only thing I’ll need to keep for my own project is the back seat frame. I have another, but this one is nicer. Good Ohio title in hand.”
