Former Washington State Forest Service FC-170.
“1962 JEEP Forward Control 170 4-Wheel Drive Truck
This is a two owner vehicle, with the original owner being the Washington State Forest Service. The custom ordered a snorkel and air brakes when this vehicle was purchased new. It has the original wench in the front bumper along with the original 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The engine turns over freely but I have not attempted to get it running. The body shows plenty of wear but is pretty straight for a 1962 work horse. The bed has surface rust but is very solid and not rusted thru anywhere on the bed. The drivers side running board is in the bed of the truck. There is a dent in each front bottom corner of cab as you can see in photos. Other than that it’s just typical wear and tear. scratches bumps and bruises. Continue reading

That front grill is wrong and the fenders don’t appear original. Still looks to be a good price.
