Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/27/2014) That rear bumper is unusual.
“Old School 1946 CJ-2 A. New Tires, Tow Bar, New Top, 12 Volt system, 12Volt Alternator and Battery. This Jeep is 68 Years Old and drives at 40 MPH. You need to be mechanically inclined to own it. Body is in good shape with new windshield. All Gages work. It Located 8 miles South of Deming, NM,. on Columbus HWY #11 just past Mile Marker 27.”

It has a rear PTO. It runs and drives.
“For Sale is my 1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep. These jeeps are tough as nails and really cool! (Also starting to get hard to find in good condition. The frame has been reinforced to maintain rigidity, and is in great shape with no holes. The body is in WAY above average shape, with only a couple of holes in it. Gauges work, all lights work, brakes work, 4×4 works great in high and low. Jeep has new carb, new tires, tubes, new headlights, new headlight switch, new fuel tank. Also has a brand new coat of CARC military paint which is nearly indestructible. Has rear PTO!!! Clean Kansas title, can be driven home today.
This jeep is very much above average shape, but still has its quirks (it is a 66 year old vehicle!!),so if you are looking for a show jeep, this is not for you. If you are looking for a very rugged, dependable, and fun go-anywhere vehicle with some style and flare, then check no further!”
With the right lens and angle, I think the jeep and that building would make a cool photo.

“1942 Ford Military jeep GPW, new carb, have replaced brake lines, gas lines, brakes,wheel cylinders, master cylinder, wheel bearings, axial seals, new battery body tub needs sheet metal work, undercarriage sound engine has no leaks. radiator leaks repairable. Engine in great shape, has a new head gasket, your welcome to come by for a look. will consider trades”

(08/01/2013) This appears to be a ’47 with a M-38 body. It has a rare louvered hood and overdrive.

This is an interesting design.
