About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

It’s been modified, but has the potential to be restored back to an early VEC.
“New tires, top, radiator and fuel tank. 4WD in good working condition, heater works, engine runs good. This is a rare one!, the 1,523rd of 1824 made in 1945. Matching serial number plates on body and frame. It has been to converted to 12V.”
“1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. It’s dark blue, not quite the original color Normandy Blue. The wheels are painted black. The serial number which if one assumes a linear production schedule for 1947, this Jeep rolled off the assembly line in early April.
Seat belts have been installed along with a roll cage. It has a new Parade cloth top which is supported by after market top irons. Rebuilt TRICO windshield wiper motor installed. After wiper motor installed (both pneumatic wipers work) and the heater works too. The mileage when I purchases it was 18,418. Since I purchased it in 2011 I have logged 1,347 miles on it. It has a 4 cylinder, flat head engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. Any additional questions please contact me.”
The pics show hubcaps on one side, but not the passenger side. Looks nice otherwise.
“This is a fairly rare, uncut, unmodified, CJ5. 1970 was one of the last years for the “old style” short nose CJ5 before AMC lengthened it so they could put their 232 straight 6 in it.
This one has the old 134 cubic inch Willy’s Hurricane four cylinder engine in it and it runs great. It sounds good, pulls good, does not smoke, starts very well. It has a newer top and side doors, new tires within a couple of thousand miles ago and is a lot of fun on a hot day running around town with the windshield down.
Bear in mind this is not the newer style Jeep and it is not a highway runner. It has a top speed of between 50 and 55. Off road it is a lot of fun. It was painted by a previous owner and is presentable, it has solid floors and the body is very rust free.
All Fluids have been changed and it has a new starter. I bought a new tow bar for it but never installed it, this will go with the Jeep if you want it.”
