This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “The motor is a 350 with a 400 crank in it Holley street dominator intake . Dana 18 transfer case . 4speed tran . 44″ super swamper , 6 hole wide aluminum center line looking wheels . It needs a little work on the frame , and hydraulic steering. Great project! Runs great!”

“1954 Willy’s Jeep CJ-33 – runs, new clutch, new 12 volt starter, motor smokes. Has Jeep Hy-Low hydraulic pump for snow plow. Tub shot. $750 OBO.
Also available 1947 Willy’s CJ-2A parts: tub, hood, fenders, tailgate and windshield frame. Has some rust but if you are restoring a CJ-2A, these parts are worth looking at. $500 OBO. ”

This It doesn’t have a fuel inlet. It is also missing drain holes. Maybe has a replacement body?

A couple days ago Glenn Byron was driving to a local Parking Lot Hot Dog Stand Display in his DJ-3A “Miss Willy” when a 90 year old driver pulled a left turn right in front of his bright yellow Jeep. The driver claimed the sun was in his eyes and he didn’t see glenn. Glenn hit the brakes, leaving about 5 foot skid marks from all four wheels before impact.
A nearly new Subaru was the victim, hit on passenger side, side air bags deployed, and probably totaled. The impact caused Miss Willy to flip onto her drivers side and slide a very short distance.
Miss Willy has bent frame, broken windshield, whole nose screwed up, and who knows how much more.
Fortunately, Glenn seems to be okay, though he did get hit on the head pretty good, causing him to be a little foggy. He’s not sure, but he believes he was ejected. No one seems to know of for sure.

(02/28/2014) Lots of updates, including a fiberglass body.
“I’ve had this for a few years and I’ve had a lot of fun driving it! it a 1949 chassis and a fiberglass body.
its a great little rat rod if you like getting attention at car show or just driving around town.
the motor has a noise a valve maybe. I have driven it like that since I have had it. the seats are original jeep seats. last time I drove it to a local car show and parked close there was more people around it than any vehicle and kids love it!
PS As you can see I bend the water can, but it didn’t hurt anything else, it has three bolts holding it on. If I don’t sell it I’m going to order the original can holder and a new can that works, for around 75 dollars, thanks for looking!”
