About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks in great shape. It has the wrong grille lights in the front and a customized rear PTO bar. Includes a rear PTO, gear box, and part of a rear drum pulley(?).
Yesterday, we had our only heat spike of the season, with temps hitting, but thankfully nothing like 2021 and temps of 116! Today will be 107, followed by around 104 tomorrow. Saturday, the highs will drop to a comfy high 80s. So, without air conditioning in the shop, not much progress will be made.
I’m currently working through this rats nest and how I want the new wiring junction atop the firewall to be strung. The firewall top sits up to 1.5″ under the cowl in places, so no wires have to go through the wall. There’s also not much rewiring to be done, as I didn’t have to make many changes.
The remaining floors are about ready to be reinstalled, but I want to make sure everything else is in place before I add them.
Oops. I was 2″ short on my fuel line. I replaced a rubber hose at the fuel pump side, which gave me enough room to attached this valve.

Sounds like seller would prefer to trade. It appears to be 2WD. I see no reason to think this was a DJ-3A at some point, but I’ll add it to that category anyway.
“Let’s trade what do you have this Jeep is very very very clean in new shape and done right also has an all new interior powered by a Isuzu fuel injected 4cyl motor runs and drives plz send pics and info with your offer thanks”
“1948 cj2a runs, drives, stops all as it should. Original steel body and frame all in pretty good shape. Winch works, 4wd works, comes with soft top and doors. After market seats and roll bar. Currently on white wagon wheels and 31s. I’m moving and can’t take it with me, I’m really going to miss this thing so don’t bother asking if I’ll take $6500. Clean nys transferable reg as they don’t have titles back then. Only selling to the right person, so if ask a thousand questions or need more pics, come see it and decide for yourself.”

“Turn key (then push the floor button) Willy’s. On the road and driven. Looking to TRADE. Looking for a compact backhoe/loader like a terramite or similar. Lots of work done to this but it’s not a show jeep. All metal and super solid. Could use a bit of tinkering but I drive it a few times a week. Not looking to sell but would entertain offers over 10k”
“I have a 1959 wills jeep, it runs and drives just ran all new break lines and master cylinder just needs one wheel cylinder replaced and they are ready to go. Comes with plow and pump.”
