This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Willys MB for sale. Not sure of exact year but definately WWII. The body had a hardtop on it for much of its life so the floors are pretty decent. The sides and rear panel are straight. Front bumper is missing but more importantly the frame horns and gussets are intact which makes restoration much easier. Comes with tub, hood, fenders, grille, windshield, frame, both axles, wheels, a tires. What you see pictured. Restore this little warhorse to its former glory! WWII Jeeps in any condition fetch very high prices now and this one is an inexpensive starting point. We’ve all wanted one of these since we were twelve, so here’s your chance…won’t last long. Need to make room in my yard. Get it and relive a piece of WWII history.”

“This is a 1955 jeep willy for sale. It doesn’t run at the moment but it was driven to the spot it is currently parked about 5 years ago so I’m sure if you are a mechanic or are good with vehicles it wouldn’t take more than a couple days to get it running again. As you can see from the pictures this jeep needs plenty of work. Any Willy’s Jeep of this year is going to be a great classic to fix up.”

This vehicle Is made to be an off road vehicle. Mud, rocks, etc….
She is not made for the road, Top speed around 45mph, (can go on road just not fast enough)
Has the old fashioned (original) start petal at your feet, key only runs the electric and turns on the electric fuel pump.
Baja rack will need welded back on but is fully intact and ready to go. Just removed because I liked it better without.

If you’ve been reading the site for a while you might remember a couple of Nate Bolduc’s projects. At the end of 2012, Nate shared with us photos of a very stock CJ-3A he purchased. Since then, not only has he been helping out at the CJ-3A Page, but he’s also been rebuilding this jeep with a Forest Service theme. He’s even named the jeep Teddy, after Theodore Roosevelt. This shows the stock CJ-3A after purchased. Note that it’s got some rot along the lower body, which means some body fixin’
Nate built this custom spare tire, water, and his Indian Fire Pump. the quick disconnect looks like a smart idea.
Nate picked up a PTO winch at the Willys Picnic in June. He’s got it installed behind a Warn OD.
Nate decided to try R&Ps dual master cylinder upgrade. He found it an easy upgrade and plans to purchase one for his next project.

Paul alerted me to this first photo of Movie Star Carole Landis in a jeep. Given the passenger door, I’m wondering if it might have been some type of Holden modified Australian MB?
This first photo is located at a UCLA website. The jeep sure looks similar to a jeep that was for sale in 2010.
But, she might be most famously connected with jeeps due to her role in the movie Four Jills in a Jeep from 1944. The photo below and the image of the book below that were posted at this website:
