Grant forwarded this ad for a VEC 2A. Unclear how much value is here4. I’ve never heard these referred to as “General’s Jeeps”.

“It is AVAILABLE, don’t waste our time. This is located in MISSOURI’s Salem. Please note this is a column shift Jeep ( sometimes referred to as a General’s Jeep ). I have 2 original motors ( out of Jeep ), you can take your pick. I have a good title for it. Will not sell parts. Might trade in on a side by side, no other trades.”
Might be worth a look given the price.

“Selling CJ-2a Willys. *Has a California title* Jeep runs and drives, but will need carb work to run smoothly. Brake master cylinder and brake cylinders have been replaced. New fuel pump was installed as well. Original motor- starts and runs well. Has high and low gears along with original three speed transmission. All gears work well. Has original foot starter. Extra fuel pump – new brake kit – new wiring harness – extra carb – misc parts as well. Comes with an extra hood also. Fenders are fiber glass.”
Blaine spotted this unusual 4-door Jeepster on an F-350 chassis.

Chris was wondering if anyone knows more about why this postcard describes these vehicles as “Phantoms”, especially when the look more like Ford GPs than Bantam prototypes?
Toby purchased a 1966 CJ-5 from an original owner and found this letter inside the owners manual. Note the last paragraph (no coverage for squeak and rattles, lol).
