Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Glenn spotted this wagon, It’s got a stuck Tornado engine, but looks like a solid body. Seller has it priced on eBay at $5500, but it taking offers.

Looks like a pretty original FJ-6. The body appears fairly solid, too.

“1964 FJ-6 Fleetvan For Sale. Clean Title. Engine is complete but the head has been removed at some point though it’s in the van along with carb, etc. Needs new front glass, there are many auto glass companies that can provide it for $350-400. Odometer reads approx. 18000 but is surely 118000 miles. Let’s not talk about those European stamps posted to the exterior and interior, seems to be a point of contention when ever it’s brought up. ?
Van has been sitting for at least 15 years and maybe more according to the estate where it’s coming from. Asking $4200. Transport cost is not included but I will be more than helpful when working with your shipper. Located in Salt Lake City Utah.”

Here are some slides with jeeps currently for sale on eBay. The first one is an unusual tour jeep that I hadn’t seen previously. It’s somewhere at least semi-tropical, based on the upper right tree.
