About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Interesting carrier on the front bumper. Looks solid.
“1953 Willys Jeep CJ3A. Really nice condition. Mostly stock with various upgrades. 12 volt converted, new gages, new locking hubs, new marker and headlights, etc. Original 4 cyl flathead engine runs fine. Got to see this to appreciate it. $6750 (you can’t buy a new quad for that). More than twice that put into it. Call, email, or text Dennis at 505-273-zero-two-four-4. No scams.”

“Nomenclature Truck, 1/4 ton, 4×4.6 volt system. Built April 4, 1945. Restored to original condition. This vehicle has a 50 cal machine gun and mount. The period correct communication radio is mounted in the rear. Start right up and runs great. No rust. Has a clear title. Great for military jeep collectors and parade ready.”
Dan’s selling this stock truck with a solid drive train and some rust.
“For sale: one great little classic black plate running 1952 Willys 4×4 truck with overdrive
General: This incredibly stock 1952 Willys truck stops, goes, steers, and cruises. The engine purrs like a kitten. Nearly all parts are there, but there is significant rust on the bed, doors, and rain gutters. This truck is a perfect candidate for an original restoration. Or, you can wait on the restoration and enjoy it as is.
(11/29/2012) I like the company’s logo. Neat truck.
“1957 Willys Jeep FC150. First year made and very hard to find truck. Has the great V6 oddfire engine with less than 2,000 miles since rebuilt. Lots of gears for on/ off road- 3 speed manual transmission, overdrive and then transfer case. In case you are unaware the FC’s are built on same frame as CJ5 so they are not a large truck. Does highway speeds at 65 very nice. Complete drive-train recently gone through and professionally done including transfer case, transmission, overdrive, axles, brakes. Paint in good condition.”
“Owned this for 30+yrs & reluctantly offering it up, sniffle sniff. I will get you some pix, but know these few things: DOES run, primer gray (seems to often be standard paint for Willys) and complete-price negotiable
Has the common Buick V-6 swap (I’ve installed headers) but somewhere in it’s history, got a rod knock. ‘Lived overseas a couple yrs & every other conversation home, someone wanted my Willys. Got back, pulled top of carb off, all the jets, squirts of WD-40, airhose & reassembly. Then a battery w/plugs pulled, a few crank overs- then plugs back in. Gravity feed gas can from the cowling for a few more crank overs. 12v to the coil & Boom! Just like it was yesterday. Compound low, & out from the trees.
All 14 pieces (2 cracks) glass complete- 2 piece windshield, baby…for those that don’t know..’51 after all. some windlace, weatherstrip and gauges purchased for restoration, but I’m sure long since ‘rerotted’, oops. Pics of interior (sorry, no detailing)have boxes of rubber, parts & manual)
“Barn Find 1951 Willys MB38 jeep. Has been park for years in barn and outside. Complete vehicle with Texas Title. Jeep was dip in rubber by military so paint looks different. Tires are bad”
(01/30/2014) Needs a little work, but appears sound.
“The pictures tell most of the story. This wagon is a 1952 model year. It has the original four cylinder and Dana 4×4 transmission setup. In addition it has a direct drive warn winch and water pump. They work off of the transmission and engine. ( not electric – hydraulic ) This old girl pulled my 8n tractor out of of the mud this fall. ( it was buried up to the back axel) She is not a trailer queen. She was meant for work.
There is a lot of good, but there is some bad. The things needed for regular use would be clean the carb out (it’s gummed up) change the fluids, and adjust the brakes. Like I said. In November I used it to pull out my tractor. I bought an f250 and need to find a new home for the old girl. I have many new parts. So if you don’t see it in the picture that doesn’t mean it doesn’t come with the wagon.
