This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Tom forwarded some additional pictures he received from the seller. The seller messaged him that he is selling the FC for a friend that recently had a stroke. The seller doesn’t know much about the vehicle.

(11/07/2013) Not only is this in good condition, but it also sports some Desert Dogs with the classic solid lettering. I might be in love (again).

“looking to trade my 47 Cj2a show jeep, Im intereseted in getting a UTV (side by side) and quads or dirtbikes….it would have to be a package deal, or a UTV and cash or something along those lines. There is over 25k in this vehcile and it looks every bit of it. i know the value of my jeep and the value of your toys so it needs to be comparable. NO BIKES. (07/26/2013) It runs and drives.
“this jeep has an overhead cam engine from a cj3b with around 3000 miles on it. Transmission gears, bearings and syncros, clutch, brakes, master cylinder and hubs have been gone through. Tub has been sanded then rhino lined. The only downfall is there is no top on it. Great summer vehicle or purchase the soft top online. Has been garaged for the last 30+ years. 2900 is a firm price.”
