About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Runs and drives. You wouldn’t want to rear end someone with those gas tanks full!
“1956 Jeep Willy CJ5. Starts right up and runs great. Newer seats, new battery, New steering damper shock. All new fluids (oil, differential, transfer case). Replaced front output shaft seal in transfer case and front axle pinion seal. New odometer and speedometer. We have original soft top and doors (not sure they fit with roll bar). Lights are not working. No other known issues. Great jeep for someone looking for a classic 4×4!”
“Registered in California as a Historic Vehicle; can be driven on the street, in parades (seats for 4) and in off-road areas that are restricted to street-legal vehicles.
Full electrical system with electric start, 100amp marine Delco alt., head-lights (plus mounted spot-light), AGM battery, 12v accessory plug.
Fully protected with fuses and relays.
Engine was replaced a few years ago with a new crate motor. Estimated 300 or less miles since new engine. There is no hour meter. Vehicle appears to be in perfect operating condition. Starts quickly after sitting for months. Has never been abused. Stored indoors for years. There is minor gear-lube seepage at the front of the transmission and on the wheels which has accumulated over the years. Continue reading →
“1962 M170 US Military Jeep 4WD Extended Wheelbase Ambulance
This very rare M170 Extended Wheelbase 4WD Jeep is one of about 4,000 built for the US Government. Overall the body on the Jeep is in pretty good condition as it is over 50 years old. There are a few rust spots on the body as shown in the pictures. The frame and chassis are in nice condition. Many of the unique M170 Ambulance parts are included with this Jeep including 3 unique seats, wiring, the ambulance stretch dash brace and more. The front lights are in the Jeep and the rear military tail lights are missing. The windshield frame is excellent along with the hood and other parts. The windshield glass is broken. The floors on the Jeep are better than expected for a Jeep this age. I do not have the spare tire or top material.
Mechanically this Jeep has not run in years. Under the hood the Jeep is basically complete less the alternator and starter which are INCLUDED but not installed on the Jeep. All the 24 volt electrical system is complete. The Jeep rolls fine however it has no brakes and the transfer case is stuck in neutral. The wheels are original and the military tires hold air.
A neat & rare old Military Jeep with a lot of the unique parts that needs a complete restoration.”
“I have several 4 and 6 cyl flatheads not stuck . Pretty complete but ever heard them run, , also have willys chassis,s wagons, trucks and cj3a , trans t cases and assorted parts let me know what you may need”
“1951 (we think) Willys Jeep CJ2A located between FOCO and Cheyenne. Was purchased from a southern Colorado Indian Reservation as a parts vehicle we ended up not needing. Most parts are there, including a fully intact 4-cyl Willy’s Flathead engine, transmission, transfer case, and suspension. No title. Does not run. You haul. Would make for a great restoration project or parts for other jeeps.”

Dennis spotted this modified mower. It doesn’t run.
“Old cool Topeka County mowing machine. Does not have the mower attachment anymore. Selling for my pops. He used it at his RV repair shop years ago to pull trailers around and then gramps used it for his auto repair shop.
Has not run in about 7 years so not sure what it would take to get her going. Has hydrolic ram on the back that lifts a crazy bar and chain set up that gramps used to pull motors from cars with. Also has big tube setup on front had a crank winch on it but not anymore.
Think it’s a jeep flat head 4 cylinder motor. Jeep front and rear axles not sure the size. Not sure what tranny and transfer case are in it.
Was going to use it for yard art but not anymore.
It’s a cool old unusual little machine.
Could probably get it running with not a whole lot on work or just use the parts off on it.
Selling for what it’s worth in scrap so $600.00 OBO
Pops has a title for it somewhere. Thanks for looking.
If it doesn’t sell in week or 2 it’s being put on my trailer and down to the scrap yard so if ya want it let me know.
Sorry I don’t know more about it but honestly who would. never seen another one like it!”
