About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1957 Jeep Willys convertible with canvas top, Jerry can, new front seats, military wheels, 4 cylinder motor, and more.
Super cool at car shows or cruising for Sunday morning coffee. Drive down the street and watch people smile and give you the thumbs up.”
David Wildenberg from Wildenberg Parts emailed me. They will soon be celebrating their 60th birthday! They deal in Jeep (MB, GPW, M38, M38A1 and cj models up to the CJ5) Dodge WC series and M37, GMC 352 and 353. Spare parts and vehicles. If you are in the Netherlands, drop by their warehouse.
Here’s a great photo from their early days. Look at all those jeeps!
Some History:
Wildenberg BV was founded in 1954 in Zeist, the Netherlands, by Wildenberg Sr. The son of Mr Wildenberg, Etienne Wildenberg, also worked in the company, and took over in 1988.
Recently David, Etienne’s son, also joined the company. He is the third generation involved with the company, which makes Wildenberg BV a real family-business.
How it went further:
Selling parts was a beginning but the sale of military vehicles also became a part of the business. The company grew steadily and soon outgrew the location in Zeist, and relocated to its current location in Rhenen. The inventory kept growing and eventually the warehouse had to be expanded. This created more space for the enormous number of parts and military vehicles. The warehouse:
All these years of experience have resulted in a stock of over 2300 square meters! All parts are cataloged and displayed by type.
60th year anniversary: In 2014 our company exists 60 year. And we are going to celebrate that! With as start the new years drink on January 18 from 2 am to 6 am. The rest of the year we got lot’s of discounts. Package deals and free merchandise. We are also planning a party weekend and a Army-verhicle tour.

“1960 Willys FJ-3 4 cylinder 138 cubic inch “Hurricane,” partnered with a Borg Warner T90 automatic transmission. This Willys Jeep FJ-3 Fleetvan had a full rebuild 5 years ago. All exterior panels that rusted thru were removed and replaced with stainless steel, prior to a full paint job. All the interior panels were removed, sand blasted, sealed, painted, and reassembled. After the body was finished, work started on the machine itself. It has rebuilt brake and master cylinders. The brake shoes and emergency brake cable were replaced. It also had new tail lights, signals, signal lever, and new wiring to them. Since I have owned it there are new plugs, wires, points, condenser, Optima RedTop battery etc… new OEM carb and valves have been adjusted. All fluids have been flushed and refilled. This Willys Jeep fleetvan is ready to go.
All Original manuals come with it.
As you can see from the pictures our goal was to use the FJ-3 as a moving billboard for our business.
We made modifications to the interior and back door opening. These modifications were made to allow our Italian Ice cart to fit into the jeep. We have installed a false floor in the FJ-3 with an electric winch and wireless remote. We still have the mesh cage that goes behind the driver and all the parts for the back door. The paint colors, which we think were rolled on, are Flat Green and Flat White. The logos are all wrapped, which means they are not painted on, and can easily be removed.
We are selling the FJ-3 because after loading 1,000 pounds of Italian Ice and our Italian Ice cart onto the jeep it becomes very top heavy.
This Fleetvan was used for 2 Seasons on CBS Show “Vegas”.
There are only a number of FJ-3 Fleetvan’s left, and there are even fewer out there in this good of a condition.
So, we have put it up for sale and the asking price is $13,750. We are located in the Northampton, Pa. 18067
Original mileage is 46,988, speedometer……….”
(11/02/2013) This nice looking CJ-5 appears to be a good price.
“This ’64 Willys has been completely restored from ground up using all original Jeep parts. Has 14,844 original miles, with only 327 miles since complete overhaul. Have all receipts and clear title in hand. Even has original Jeep tires (new). Pics tell the whole story; this is essentially a brand new Jeep made of materials built to last. 4 cylinder with 3-speed transmission, with lockout hubs. Everything works on this Jeep like it should. I have receipts showing restore parts alone costing more than 13k; will sell for $5500, firm”
“Jeep runs great. Body is Fiberglass. Original engine, frame, transfer case ect. Has new fuel tank, lines, sending unit, pump. New carb, plugs, air filter, cap, rotor, thermostat. New wheels and tires.
Leaks some oil, I have seal to fix just haven’t. I have roll bar and soft top with doors also.”
“You are looking at a 1950 Willys Overland Jeepster, these were only made between 1948 and 1951. It has a 4 cyl flathead engine that runs great. 3 speed column shift. Good tires, rust free body just needs the final detailing. The paint is fair along with the interior. I bought two and one has to go.”
