About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Selling the old toy. Family of five has outgrown it and we purchased a replacement. The top in the picture has a hole in it now…the mice got after it in the barn. It is being advertised on Hwy. 19 at D&R Four Wheel Drive. Stop and check it out. First $4,500 takes it!”
(07/30/2013) I think it’s back to the drawing board on this project. The rollcage looks like a CJ-3B or CJ-5 based on the front loop’s upper bends.
“1952 CJ Jeep on 1990 Toyota 4-runner running gear. V-6, 5 speed, 4×4 Toyota. All Toyota running gear (engine, transmission, 4×4 unit) has extremely low miles. Alot of the work has been done, still some to do. Call Mike at (208) 689-3252.”

“I have a very rare and hard to find (at a decent price)1953 Willy jeep ,the motor has been rebuilt, transfer case rebuilt , and transmission has been rebuilt , it needs a carburetor ,and a top , the frame from front to back is solid , its like bran new !!tires are good and I have 4 more tires that go with it”
Gary shot this photo of his jeep and boat. He says it really helps to have the jeep for putting the boat into tight, uneven locations on small lakes, like the one below at Binnewater Lake in Rosendale, NY. Looks like a beautiful day for sailing.
UPDATE: Todd had to cancel the sale. He will relist soon.
Only the lift is for sale.
“Very Rare Find! Up for sale is a complete, working Monroe Hydraulic System that was manufactured as an aftermarket item for Willys Jeeps in the 1950’s era. These hydraulic systems were made for Willys Jeep Models CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-3B and CJ-5.
What makes this more interesting is that the unit comes with the original Maintenance and Mechanic’s Manual and the original purchase receipt from 1958, which totaled over $900.
As you can see int he pictures, this items has been outside and used for over 50 years, so there is surface rust covering most of the unit.
Although not pictured, there is also a counterweight for this unit that sits nicely in the front bumper area that comes with the unit. Also, the scoop appears to be manufactured by Ford. The “Ford” plate is attached to the scoop as seen in the pictures.
I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area and do not have the time to box the unit. Ideally, the unit would be picked up in the SF Bay Area. If not, I may be able to get the unit to a shipper for boxing and transport but only after discussing with the buyer.”
“I have two Jeep Willy for sale. One of them the yellow one runs and drives well the cream color one does not but has new breaks and a lot of parts. I would like to sale both of them for $2,500.”
“1942 GPW. 134 4cyl F-Head engine. 3 speed transmission. T-18 Twin stick transfer case. Dana 44 rear Lincoln locked. Open Dana 18 front, 5.38 gears. Electric fan. Converted to 12 volt system. 15 gallon fuel cell. Racing bucket seats with harnesses. Tow bar. 4″ Diamondback suspension lift. Fully caged. Runs but needs a tune-up. Been sitting for a couple years. No battery and obviously no wheels and tires. Great trail rig for going slow and crawling up everything. Shoot me an email if you have questions. Willing to work with you but no lowballing please. Serious inquiries only!”
