Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. New jeep sign, but still neat.

Steve saw the article about Topeka’s from yesterday and forwarded this ad. He thought it was a custom rig. This runs and drives.
“4×4 tractor with blade to move the snow that is on it’s way. Good for plowing snow or dirt work. 4×4 has all jeep running gear. Has a hydraulic system. Turn key ready $1450. cash or give me a call and we can discuss a trade. Looking for a gas motor golf cart.”

The rear sides of the wagon have been trimmed, but otherwise this seems solid.

Runs and drives. Has a rare set of rear doors. Reminds me of Andy’s airport jeep, but not identical to it.

UPDATE: More photos added, including interior shots. It’s clearly a compilation of parts. It is listed as a 1950 M-38, but the body and fenders are MBish or aftermarket MBish. Unclear why there are no tool indents on driver’s side.
