About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1954 CJ3 WILLYS JEEP. pretty much all original. original motor transmission and transfer case front end and rear end. This jeep does not run but could with very little work. The body has some rust and will need some patchwork. Call for more information ask for Seth.”

It’s not a 1945. It has a mix of parts. Possibly a GPW frame. Has a military fender.
“For Sale: Willy’s Overland 1 9 4 5 Open Jeep.
99% Original Flat Head “Go Devil” engine, original 3-speed transmission and high / low range transfer case, 16″ steel rims. Runs & shifts excellent.
The Jeep’s Tub is in good shape. The floors have been replaced with OEM replacements about 15 years ago. The tub is rust free, no rot, even in the jack compartment. The rear bed has been replaced with 3/32″ diamond plate steel. All the metal work was professionally welded and looks superb.
The jeep runs excellent, & has the 12V conversion, but the brakes are bad. It needs a new Master cylinder. An auxiliary gas tank is currently in use because the original gas tank finally gave out. Both seat frames broke a long time ago, only the bases remain. The top back parts were un-salvageable. We never had a rear seat in the Jeep. The front driver’s side glass is cracked.
It’s time for another restoration and/or rebuild. It’s a great hunting jeep, but we want it to go to a home that has more time and money to put into it.
*What is not original: The front bumper had a tube bumper installed at some point during it’s previous owner’s possession, so that needs to be re-done, and of course, it needs a new gas tank. The emergency brake system was removed. It does come with a full size 16″ spare.

“This was a project of mine and started fixing her up but lost interest due to other projects and space. It runs and drives but the engine started knocking after I initially changed the engine oil. Its either a push rod or even a rod pin could be bad. The oil was like tar when I drained it. I have already redone the entire cooling system including Radiator refurbished and new water pump and hoses along with a new Fuel Pump. Frame is Solid and Drivetrain is excellent. I am firm on price as that is what I have invested. Not in a rush to sell it, so please understand what firm means. Its the OG Green color. Located in Corunna, MI.. Clean Title”
“1942 willys for sale was a project, has 383 stroker, 700r4 trans and np203 transfercase. Ford 9inch rear axle cut to fit with custom shafts. Has Dana 30 up front, rear axle has been moved back to fit drive train. Has everything to put together except for radiator, fuel tank rear drive shaft and brake assembly. This is a project that I lost interest in and could use the money for other things. Asking 1500$ firm trades possible if it’s somthing worth it.”
Doesn’t run, but looks like a good restoration project.

“I have a 1946 Willy jeep for sale. This truck runs and drives great, but has no breaks. It has a standard four cylinder. The jeep is absolutely cool for anyone into old cars OR military memorabilia, being the jeep was most likely used in world war 2 looking at it’s year made. ”
