About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The Half Century of Progress Show happened this past weekend in Rantoul, IL. The show takes place every other year. Bob Christy reports there were 13 jeeps or so this year and two empire tractors.
Ann and her mother were at the local Kennewick Mall when Ann heard a funny sound, then spotted a CJ-2A. Being a great mate, she went into action, chasing the driver down until she could get permission to photograph his jeep. I asked if she got his name, but she didn’t. Well, at least she got a couple pics. It isn’t often you see a flatfender parked at the local mall!
Mitch just found this rare jeep in a Washington State field.
He writes, ” It’s a 1966 CJ-6 with a factory 192 Perkins Diesel. Picked it up out of a farmers field just outside of Asotin, Wa. Complete and rust free minus a radiator and some front end damage from running into the back of something. 2/3- 1/3 front bench, full Meyer hard top, rear seat, even has the factory jack and lug wrench in the tool box under the seat…lol… Didn’t even know they had those. The owner had to be in his late seventies or early 80’s so some of the history was fuzzy. He thought it had been there 7 or 8 years but the last registration was from 77……Which makes me wonder if the 9,xxx some miles on the odometer might actually be correct.”
Marc forwarded these two jeeps for sale in South Africa. The first is a Gobex Jade Jeep, a kit jeep that is no longer produced. Marc’s trying to find out what happened to them.
The second jeep is a Badger Jeep, A veep-like kit car with a VW engine. What’s most interesting is that the tires are Desert Dog PCV Tires, yet the tires don’t include PCV like other PCV tires I’ve seen.
I tried to identify this pedal jeep, but didn’t have any luck. It has some unusual wheels.
“Cleaning out the garage and came across this beautiful peddle car. I am willing to accept offers. Call or text Ian with any questions. 610-306-088 seven”

Delivery available with full price sale. $16000.00 If interested please call Rich at 420-4161. Please call after 4pm due to my work schedule. Thanks for looking.”
“It’s all there but the EM brake. Comes with new reproduction body, 5 original combat rims. I drove it into the shop, but has not run since. Good Jeep but needs someone with the time and energy to get it back on the road.
New seat canvas, canvas windshield cover and canvas top.
To clarify, the Jeep still has an original, but rough, body on it. I collected a lot of replacement parts off old scrapped bodies or NOS to repair the damaged and missing parts.
I converted the EL to 12 volts but I still have all the 6 volt stuff, including an original voltage regulator, generator and starter, that go with the Jeep. Also, I have 90% of the EM brake, I just never got it on the Jeep.
The Repo body can be seen in the back ground. It is a complete body kit of the late war style body.
If you are interested in just the Jeep as is with all the extra parts, $7,500 OBO.
If you are interested in just the body kit $2,500 OBO.”
