About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

It hasn’t run in 25 years, but there might be some value here.
“This is a complete 1953 Willy’s CJ3B. I bought it intending to restore it, but never got to it. It has all original differentials, transfer case transmission and engine. The differentials and transfer case are in good order. The engine ran 25 years ago when someone last drove the vehicle. The top of the transmission had been removed and the inside is very rusted. Likely the transmission needs replaced. The body is pretty good. The back part of the tub where the back seat sits is rusted. There is surface rust in other places. The vehicle is rough, but restorable, and almost all there.
Asking 1200.00 or best offer. Might consider a trade, but would prefer cash.”
The paint job suggests this might have been nice at some point; not so much now.
“good project for a hunting vehicle or crawler!
its all there,motor,tranny,tcase,axles,original rims.

(07/29/2013) The sides panels have been replaced, so this likely had rust at one time. It looks solid from a distance.

I would really like a jeepster commando but interested in all reasonable offers”
(12/20/2012) Calling this refurbished, rather than restored, is more accurate. I’m not sure what is hanging so low below the jeep.
“This is a very nice FRAME-OFF resoration. Everything redone!! Check out the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzNXQwca7nM From the wheel bearings to the brakes to the wiring and the engine!

New wiring
New brakes and brake lines
Rebuilt engine

Well, I’d planned to do updates for Sunday, but an unexpected dinner of Thai food with Ann’s grandfather put me into a food coma, which led to some sound sleeping.
Today I expect to complete the last full edit review of the new book. Forty pages have been slashed, some logic improved, a little back history added, errors corrected, and explanations clarified. I expect to order a proof version monday morning and, if all is correct, announce it is ready for sale by mid-next week.
