UPDATE: Was $9500. **SOLD**
(07/22/2013) This looks good.
“Totally restored 1950 Jeep CJ-2 I need room in my garage so I want to sell it. Asking $9,500 I have $12,000 into it. but i have had my fun with it so time to move on.
1,500 mile since the complete restoration.”
Looks good, but needs a battery at the very least.
“Restored M38A1 1955 Willys M38A1. Has been sitting on jacks in garage for about 20 years. Selling as is. Was driven frequently for a short period until it was finally parked. Probably just needs a new battery, gas and oil. Clear title.”
How about that passenger heater!
“Barn Find, very original, needs a full restoration. Engine runs great, was replaced in 81, has brakes, shifts well, clutch good etc. Has some rust in the passenger floor, the wiring is scary, needs a complete restoration. The hard top and doors on this rig are probably worth as much as the Jeep, in amazing condition. Clear title, cash talks, I can trailer it to you if you live within a reasonable distance for the cost of fuel.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4900.
Bob spotted this CJ-5. Looks in good shape for the price.
“1982 Jeep CJ5 Soft top. Original steel tub that is in overall good condition. 6 cyl 258 motor, 4 speed manual transmission, new black soft top and black bikini top, new Cragar rims, tires with 80% tread and a good spare, tow bar, new muffler. The transfer case and transmission works shifts well. Needs a new steering gear but it is drivable, exhaust manifold or gasket is leaking – have new aftermarket exhaust manifold and gasket, new fuel gauge, temp gauge and radio quit working. The jeep is over 30 years old and not perfect but overall solid. Contact for more information or photos. Not interested in any trades”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2600.
(09/13/2014) Runs, but is a project.
“1950 Willys CJ3A in overall good shape – needs some work/restoration but a great start. The engine is complete and does start/run.
Needs brakes gone through, also needs new fuel lines. Tub has had some fiberglass repairs done over the years. I put a new carb and fuel pump in it, battery is relatively new (less than a year), new cap/rotor, wires, plugs, oil and filter.
It’s a bit of a project but a great start for someone. Call or email if interested.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600
This runs and drives.
“1960 Willy Jeep
4×4
Small V8 Engine
Runs & Drives
Manual Transmission”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
(10/14/2014) I suspect this is a replacement body. It looks in good shape.
“Selling my 48 Willy’s. Body is very straight with no rust. Original motor and drive train is tight and runs great. Previous owner had the trans and steering box rebuilt. Converted to 12 volt. Rebuilt carb. Power windows, just kidding. Very simple Jeep. Not built for the Highways, top speed is about 50 MPG. Very fun for around town, Tahoe, getting morning coffee or four wheeling on your huge ranch. Feel free to call or text. Please no email for I don’t check this one often at all. I have the soft top and soft full doors. Great adventure mobile.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
This is a mix of parts.
“Great Willys jeep for sale. 1942 Frame, motor, and front clip. 1946 tub. Famous flat head L134 Go devil engine. Was used in movies. The jeep runs and drives, also can be towed behind. WWII jerry cans and ax/shovel kit come with. Make an offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3700.
Runs roughly. The front bumper isn’t original.
“Built by Kaiser – same as Willys. rust free, converted to 12 volts, was stored in garage for last five years, runs rough, very low mileage, planned to restore to military specs but too many projects. Five new tires.”
