Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 (M38) low hood jeep. Street legal but really built for the trails. LOTS of time and $ invested! Ford small block 302, C4 automatic, dana 18 transfer case. Offset dana 44 full floater rearend with detroit locker. Narrowed dana 44 front axle with OX locker. 5.38 ring and pinion. Custom full cage, 35″ SSR swampers, custom dash/guages/shift tower. “1959 Willys FC-150 pick up truck. 1 of 3,048 made. 5,000 GVW. NO engine in truck. I do have a 4 cyl F-head engine or V8 304 AMC engine that you can choose from. Has adapter for small block Chevy with bell housing. All drive train and rad in truck with standard shift. Jeep built on CJ5 factory chassy. Minimum rust. Has been sanded and sprayed with rust inhibitor and gray primer. Ready for restoration. $3,750.

This runs, but has issues. There’s a large hole on the passenger side. This is nearby me.

The yellow CJ-3A looks like it has a very narrow set of Desert Dogs. Unclear if the yellow one runs (probably not).
