Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “The jeep has a fair body. It is a 1948 cj2a. The frame was cut into two pieces from the previous owner. It could be welded back. I have the grill and fenders and front half also. No hood or windshield. I’m asking $500.00”

Looks like enough parts to make a jeep. Everything looks clean, too.
“This was a project jeep that was disassembled and is ready to put back together. all engine work done and transmission rebuilt. new complete body with fenders , windshield and hood. many original f-stamped parts. new combat rims and tires. all brake system new. original f-stamped radiator with new core. too much to list. over 10 grand invested will sacrifice for $7500.00.”
It sounds like this includes an overdrive. It might be a good price.

(06/28/2013) This has had some body work done around the sides. Notice how they extend lower than the step.
“Have a clean and clear NC title. Some expenses have come up and need cash ASAP.
95% restored. All parts bought from Kaiser-Willys. I have all the receipts.
Everything works. To make it 100% need a new wiring harness.
History:
I bought this from Tennessee 4 months ago (Jeep in blue). Cleaned up all the holes and random gauges that were put on over the years. I loved the high hood cj3b. Lots of work has been done after I bought it, too many to list. See the pictures. I have lots of pictures from the restoration.
Serious buyers please. I don’t have truck to deliver it anywhere. Cash only.”

“Old rare custom hand machined gas powered one of a kind 2wd willis you will never see another like it chassis transmission worm/screw drive rear end clutch axles leaf springs all hand made to fit a 1965 gi joe body 7000 hasbro has old o.s.max-s 30 with a custom fan and shroud to keep it cool trans shifts manually from foreword to reverse by the stick shifter i did not build this looks to been built in late 60ies early 70ies and built very presice every thing looks new but never finished project needs all electronics and mounts for the elects gas tank comes with original trailer and spotlight”

“***Beautifully Restored and Modified*** This ‘attention getter’ is ready to go to a new home. Everything works and is in pristine condition. Rebuilt Buick V6 Engine has about 600 miles. This is a 3 Speed T90 with a hydraulic clutch and Atlas Transfer Case. Jeep has Dana 44’s front and back and has new electrical wiring throughout. Jeep was like this when I bought it except for minor modifications to make it look and run better. It also comes with the complete vinyl top. Not in a hurry to sell, so no low balling and not looking for trades, only serious inquiries. I can answer any other questions you might have. Sorry cash only.”
