1955 Willys Jeep M-170 $5,000 Yukon, OK
Pretty neat looking, has a video of it driving around. Get in and go around the property anyway.
Information from seller:
Rare Military M170 ambulance Jeep. Only a few thousand of these were ever made, beginning in 1953 into the early 60s. This Jeep starts with just a bump from the key and absolutely purrs. Runs and drives really well. Needs brake work and TLC. Great restoration project, parader vehicle or farm/ranch/hunting truck. 5:38 gears are so low you can get out and walk next to it. 3 extra military tires. I can only post one video here, but I have others of how easily it starts, how smoothly it idles, and if it driving down the road in both low and high range.
Home Made Jeep $400 Ada, OK
As advertised! But not really a Jeep.
Information from seller:
Built on a Chrysler chassis it appears. Flat head 6 cylinder turns over. Neat project located in stonewall Oklahoma
Summer flew by as it always does, it was a pretty great Summer this year with lots of adventures and work getting done.
Had some more postings for sale that people emailed over, I decided to add a shortcut to the right side Widget Bar for this sorts of ad’s For Sale or Wanted. Was also able to make some connections for some folks who do not have FB that wanted to get in touch with the Seller. That can be hit and miss, I try to vet out the Sellers as best as possible, I look for a real profile and then that profile has friends and the sort. It can be hit and miss on the emails as well so I do attempt to look at where the emails are coming from and the sort. Nothing is perfect and we have had some fake ad’s get posted which I immediately take down.
There are others that are just plain fraud but are real ad’s and they are impossible to get removed, but if I’m notified we will fix it ASAP.
Most of all be vigilant when your shopping, if its too good to be true it probably is. If they offer tons more then they should it’s a huge red flag. Lots of phishing schemes and the sort out there to get your Willys Bucks!
Finally got started on our NJ Willys HQ, got some carpet taken out, painter is on site and we should have the front offices looking pretty nice by the end of September. Excited to get that project off the ground, one of the hopes and dreams for this space is to house one of almost each type of Willys Engines and have a place where folks can see the older technology and then even test and tune on something old. Will have some fixtures of a Front and Read Differential, so stuff like that. Got to just take it how it comes as I have a lot of other projects for the family and my day job takes up a lot of time. But its all fun.
This weekend was all about the Yellowjackets, I had to battle 2 big nests, one at my place and one at a buddy from works place, I use a vacuum that has a long 1-1/2 Pipe that keeps me away from the nest as best possible then move forward as you suck them up to get them removed, it’s a process for sure. These are not the happy bee’s that can co-exist with people, these are aggressive and do not belong where the nest are built and are a hazard to kids and pets who might disturb them. So more things to take away from Willys time, but has to be done.
Kids started Soccer this year, their first year out, that’s been an adventure, I played as a kid and always had a fun time with it growing up, hard to try not to say anything from the sidelines, but have to let them figure it out their way and the coaches are very helpful and supportive of brand new players as a bunch of them are figuring it out for the first time. This is very similar to how a Willys project goes at times, there are a lot of things that many of us have never had to do before and just need to be patient and take it as it comes and keep plugging along as we figure out these new “old” rigs.
As always if you would like us to promote anything or an event please let me know, email post@ewillys.com
The Fall Reunion is this weekend in MO and looks to be a great event, if you are in the area it is one of those you will probably enjoy it if you have never been before.
All of these events are typically run by some level of volunteer staff and their families, then the great Willys Vendors step up and provide what they can so that these events are possible, so please support the event and their various vendors and sponsors!
Hope everyone has a great Labor Day, looking forward to what September brings, its kind of like the a second new year’s with School starting back a great excuse to get refocused a bit before the cold creeps back before we know!!!
One thing that was requested via email was for eWillys to go back to sending daily emails when there were new posts. I started looking at plugins to do that, does not appear the site supports that currently, but there are some options for that to happen. So we hear you and thanks for sending in those sort of things, if they are on your mind you can bet someone else is thinking the same thing, so it help us when we know about that kind of stuff. There are some technical challenges and opt in process that needs to be looked at, but I have started the process and gaining knowledge about the way it all works.
Ad’s are back off again, they put us in the penalty box for some unknown reason, so I just decided to turn them back off. I thought I had a really good balance for the ads and it was down to 3 clicks for a new visit, and had a sequence of when the ads would show and the sort. Well they had better plans and after I thought I got it all worked out they said we violated some policy but were not going to say exactly how it got violated, it’s a cat and mouse game. So I just turned them back off if they want our traffic they can come back and ask for it. The Header is the only ad currently, I keep the Header active so the account stays active, it turns about 0.30 cents (USD) a day off that ad. It was fun figuring the system out and proved it will pay for all the site costs and some upgrades, but I don’t need to clutter the site up with the ad’s at this time, so leaving them off for now. If that needs to change and we need to get them back will push that down the road.
Hope everyone had a great Summer and their Willys projects are moving forward!
Thanks, Tim
1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A w/ Koenig Half Cab $9,500 OBO Fayetteville, NC
Original Post Published on: July 10, 2025
But was previously on eWillys:
This was posted on eWillys back in 2013. It still looks to be in great shape. Seller listed as purchased for a client and deal fell through, has good ebay ratings from what I can see here.
Information from seller:
1946 Willys CJ2A Koenig Half Cab Fully Restored
4wd / 4X4 Farm/ Offroad
Factory 4-cylinder engine, Manual Transmission
Starts, runs, drives, 4wd works, brakes as should
I acquired this vehicle for a specific customer by request, he subsequently lost his ability to fund the deal. I have no personal interest in it, so I am selling it today.
I would expect if you are looking at this, you are a vintage Willys/Jeep enthusiast and know more than I do about them.
This is absolutely everything I know about this vehicle:
1946 Willys CJ2A w/ a Koenig Half Cab
Doors are removable, cab and tub are integrated and do not separate.
A full restoration was completed 12-14 years ago (around 2010-2013 timeframe)
Sold in 2013 at Gateway in Detroit (for what I assume was the $19,995 range) see last pic*
Operated and shown in a few Jeep/Willys Events/ Rally’s in the Pennsylvania area 2013-2015 timeframe.
Stored/ garaged for an unknown time period and then sold to the person I bought it from.
Garaged and used sparingly as an enthusiast vehicle for a few years and sold to me since never had time to drive it.
Original 6 Volt electrical system.
This is the first year model offered as a civilian version of the old military units.
Top speed is 38-45mph so considered a ranch/ farm work vehicle of course.
Has/ can be operated in parades, events, shows etc.
The vehicle is absolutely a conversation piece with anyone that sees it.
NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS VEHICLE, pics are current accurately depict current condition.
1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A $28,980 Hudson, NY
This is a beautiful Willys! I’m not sure they would sell it to me if I told them I’m going to use it for a Plow Rig! But it basically has everything you need to use this one, why not put it to use, it would still be maintained to a very high level and kept indoors full time. Willa Dean is a Column Shift, it would have a friend in the shop! Not sure if those horns are original, they are period correct, IDK….. I do like the smaller flat horn. This might have done well at the KW Horn Contest at this years Great Willys Picnic!
