Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Needs a little work, but might be worth a look.
“1945 Willys MB Jeep. This is the type of Jeep used in World War II. It has a new reproduction steel body and Frame, rebuilt engine, transmission, and rear axle. It has new reproduction tires. It needs the lights hooked up and general detail work. We have well over $10,000 invested in it.
This Jeep has the original 4 cylinder flat head engine it’s only about 50 HP so this isn’t a Hot Rod.”

“1952 Willys CJ 3A Outstanding Condition, Ca. & Az. car, absolutely no rust. This Jeep was re-powered with a 2 litre OHC Ford Pinto motor (professionally done) . It has updated to a 12 volt electrical system & has an Optima Red top Battery. Its running 15″ American Mag Wheels with 33 X12.50 mud & snow tires. The transmission and transfer case , along with both differentals are stock units. This Jeep runs great & really does great Off Road.”

“completely restored,[frame-0ff] custom 1949,flat fender,4×4 willys jeep CJ3A .v-8,chevy 305 motor with quadrojet 4-barrel carberator,turbo 400 automatic tranny with shift kit,dana 40 rear end dana 25 front axle,11-inch brakes,headers,dual gas tanks,31×10.50 tires,roll bar,bikini rag top,custom front bumper and grill guard,custom,rear bumper and tire rack,4-core radiator,high bucket seats..”

(05/10/2014) This unusually colored CJ-5 comes with a rear PTO. Seller listed the motor as a flathead, but obviously is a f-head.

Seller believes this is a Traveller, but split window suggests otherwise to me.
“Moving to florida and selling my 1960 willys Traveler Station Wagon. partially restored. converted to 12 volt, new wheels and tires, gas tanks, generator. three speed with overdrive, high low range, four wheel drive, and pto”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6200. This has an aluminum body, most likely an aqualu. It also has a military passenger fender and possibly rear hubs. The chassis might be earlier than a ’49.
“1949 flat fender aluminum body Willys Jeep. Rebuilt motor still needs fluids and hoses hooked up. Clutch and u joints are disconnected. Has the L head 4 cylinder motor. This jeep needs a little work still but everything works great.”
Solid, but could use polish.

Bill forwarded this ad. Might want to take a look at the driver’s side rust situation given the plate in the floor.
“For sale 1953 M38A1 early tilt grill, very complete, 9500 mi. good straight body and frame, 24v.Comes with most fording kit parts. Engine has good comp. and oil pressure, but has a lower end noise. Price reduced to $4000”

The pipe on the wheel wells is unusual.
