UPDATE: Still Available
(07/27/2014) Seller has other jeeps for sale also. This needs work, but appears to be a good price.
“This is a nice start to a Jeep project. All metal body with upgraded suspension and steering. Original 4 cylinder motor and 3 speed dual stick transfer case. I acquired this jeep with a bunch of other projects so I don’t know much more than the pictures show. Looks like it needs wiring completed and winshield intalled. (I have the glass and seal) Pretty solid project for an old ’46 CJ2a. I have other Jeeps for sale as well.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900.
“I have a 1952 Willys Overland M-38 project jeep for sale. This is a great example of the last flat fender military jeep. Completely rebuilt engine has less than 10 miles on it. The jeep is very restorable, and is in good shape for being 60+ years old. Has been converted to 12V, and wears a hood from a CJ2A. Body has some patches, and jeep has been painted red. Comes with a older hard top (not military). This is a project, but is all there, and I have almost $2k in the engine alone. If interested I can send pictures, or better yet, contact me to come see it. I do have at least 6 original wheels, 4 other tires and new tubes to go along with it. Roll bar is just resting in place. I will consider trades that take up less space. Possibly an ATV, Enduro motorcycle, enclosed trailer, try me..”
According to this Canadian website, an M-38 restored by Kevin and Sharon Martin ‘wowed’ the crowd at North Bay’s Summer in the Park car show.
Bob took some photos of this beautiful GP the weekend.
“Saw this nice ford gp at the ragersville, Ohio car and power show today. Guy has owned it for 30 years. It came out of Colorado. Still has the right engine and drivetrain. Nicely restored by the owner.”
This 1990 Dr. Pepper can features a Jeep Wrangler giveaway. I know’s it not super vintage, but I thought it was interesting.
This looks to be a solid M-38 with a replacement body.
“1951 Willys Jeep in excellent condition. Several year restoration–in storage since completion with very little use. Comes with soft top and extra set of tires. Ford V-8 302 powered, stick shift. No rust. Original except for engine. Needs minor TLC. The hydraulic brakes and clutch need bleeding.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s an unusual truck.
“One of the biggest attention getters you will find,….custom built frame, all heavy wall.Rear susp. adj. coilover w/ adj. 4 link.,drum brakes on a GM 6 lug 10 bolt w3;73 ratio…..Front; beam axle, disc. w/ friction shocks & multi-leaf stack.Drives very straight, doesn’t ride bad either! This engine stumps most everyone( except ex military)It is truly unique as engine and 5 speed trans.is a donor from a 2.5 ton personel carrier..,motor is bullit proof_literally_is designed to run on as little as 1 quart of coolant, and start in any weather condition,Being it is a Hercules Ind. military engine it will run on anything petro based…kero,,fuel oil, drain oil veg. oil,and it likes it!!
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.

‘1954 Willys 4×4 wagon
Inline “hurricane” 6 cylinder engine
3 speed transmission, recently added overdrive,
Truck has typical rust rot (floors, quarters, etc)
I was going to turn this into a beach buggy, but don’t have the heart.
great candidate for restoration.
Price will go up as I make repairs/restoration.
Truck gets tons of looks wherever it goes.
Open to interesting trades.”
