Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/02/2014) I didn’t realize this was a CJV until I saw the serial number. The paint job is a spackle or speckled type of some kind. CJV35 – 10218
“1950 Willy’s Jeep. 4×4, Manual 3 speed flat head Willy’s 4 cylinder. Odometer is 03480 and believe it is actually 103,480. Strong runner. Good condition and deep tire tread. Brakes pull to the right. And, Jeep needs adjustment for high altitude or tune up.”

In 2010 the Baldwin County Department of Archives and HIstory purchased a CJ-2A. Earlier this month the put it on display in the lobby of the Baldwin Count Annex (22251 Palmer St., Robertsdale, Alabama). Why feature a 2A? They feel it’s a worthy representative descendent of the WWII jeep. The county’s goal is to build a state military museum and put the jeep on display there.

“I have a 61 willy’s Cj-3B for sale. Runs and drives with original hurricane engine. minimal rust on frame and body, restoration started(new windshield frame, oak blocks pivot bolts). I do not have the time or energy to start another project so this jeep has to go.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500. It has a few updates. New photos.
“1946 Willys Jeep, original 450 engine and trans. Runs good, New paint, and interior. Chrome wheels with new tires. Black roll bar with new soft top. Very straight body. 12v electrical works great. 82,000 Miles”
Gas tank has been removed.
“I have a 47 cj2a with a odd fire v6 and power steering. I got this jeep recently in a trade but don’t really have the garage space for it. The body is all patched and solid it’s not the prettiest thing but all complete. The previous owner boxed in the frame also. I have got it running so you can hear it run and it does drive. It is currently leaking from the thermostat housing. It needs master cylinder and a brake line. I have not really dug into it to far. The gas tank was taken out and emptied it doesn’t look bad inside. Currently still uninstalled. It has 33 inch allterrain style tires in great condition with aftermarket aluminum rims. It has a metal hard top in good shape but no doors. I’m looking to get 2500 or b/o. Will consider trades also just a bill of sale no title”

It’s lacking some rear lights. It looks like the windshield has been enlarged.
“I have a 1950 jeep willys cj3a similar to the cj5 but it’s more awesome and it has the flatfenders first off I’ve put a lot of money into this thing and it is a extremely capable off-road rig and it’s reliable enough to daily drive I started with a brand new wiring harness from ez wiring and all connections were heat shrinked wiring is complete enough to drive and be street legal other than a license plate light I left the gauge wiring incomplete until I bought new gauges but now I’m not gonna have the time for it. I also had 4 brand new b f Goodrich km2 33×10.5×15 mud terrain tires. Tires have 0 miles on them mounted on 4 new black rock crawler wheels. Also had a gmail s10 steering column with tilt. has a brand new suspension in the form of a complete Holbrook long leaf kit (research them seriously do it) a brand new complete bestop tiger top with doors. Come check it out also I have a sm465 that I had planned for a swap but that never happened you could have if u like”
