Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A CJ-3B body has been adapted onto a CJ-5 chassis. The grill has been extended several inches to compensate for the longer frame.
“1972 CJ5 Frame and running gear. CJ3A body and AMC Javilin 401 cu in engine with fenderwell headers, holley 500 carb, torq cam. Has front and rear fuel tanks. Runs but needs tuneup.”

“Cj3A flat fender jeep with a flat4 not currently running bit wouldn’t take much to get it going. Brand new aluminum radiator, motor is clean, carb needs rebuild kit installed and put back on engine and it will fire right up. Don’t have time to play with it any more so it needs to go. 1000 obo.”

(It sounds like this has been disassembled. Appears to have combat wheels.
“Unsure of the year but I believe it’s a 1945 Willy’s MB. It is currently decommissioned. The plan was to start the frame off restoration but no time to even start. Tub is rusty. Hood is decent. Any takers? The picture was taken BEFORE we decommissioned the Willys.”
