About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I’m really wondering about the text on the back of this card. I can’t tell what it is promoting. The title claims this is Bruce Minard a gold prospector in Red Hill, Mojave, California.
I love look of the motor, but less so the hole in the hood. This includes a winch. This would go quickly on the mainland.

less then hundred miles on new engine….original 3 speed transmission, 4 wheel drive works perfect”
This might be a very good price if the body is as good as it appears.

(12/29/2013) This FC comes equipped with a diesel.
“Up for sale is a 1962 Willys Jeep FC Forward Control Flat Bed Truck 4X4
Mercedes Diesel Engine pulled from a 1984 300D. Will drive and we’ve taken it up to about 50 MPH at which time the steering feels a little weird. Not sure if the steering wheel is loose or it just feels weird due to it being raised (37″ tires). Its definitely still a project with all the parts here & the major work already done. Registered in California through FEB 2015.
Known issues:
-4X4 Cable needs to be connected
-Drivers window is in door but doesn’t close
-Brake fluid leak
-RPM gauge is not connected
-Steering feels loose at high speeds”
No brakes and the drain holes have been patched, but it runs.
“1946 Willys CJ2a…almost all of the original parts are there (missing the original gauge cluster and windshield has been replaced) with the body in fair shape. I have an old Oregon title to it which could possible be used to get a new one. It had been used as a hunting vehicle on a lease for several years. Ready for a restore!
Pros
Engine runs
Transmission shifts fine
Transfer case works good
Hubs lock and unlock as they should
Most original parts there
Cons
Master cylinder is froze up, so no brakes
Engine smokes”
The motor runs. This might have some parts value if nothing else. The body has been patched.
“I am selling my Jeep because I just have not had time to play with it. The Jeep does run and has a flat head 4 cylinder motor. Jeep is not drive-able due to the linkage is not connect at this time. I have to many original extra parts to list and all are included. Floor pans and rust on the side of the body has already been repaired. For the age of the Jeep it is in pretty good shape. It is missing a windshield. To the best of my knowledge everything else is present. I am asking $1200 or best offer. Please call me if you have additional questions”
This doesn’t run, but sure looks like it has potential.
“1962 Willy’s 4wd Jeep has rebuilt 283 engine.

This is an early M-38. The steps have been lengthened, as have those front spring shackles. It’s not perfect, but does have a interesting raw character about it.
“This is a very early 1950 M38. Serial number 10891 ( 891st built of
approx 45-50000) with a date of delivery of 9-15-50. This jeep has been
converted to 12 volt and has a good running GPW engine in it. It has a
few rust spots in the usual places ( drivers rocker panel, small hole in
fender step on drivers side). A “new” thin sheet steel floor was welded
over the rear floor but from underneath there appears to be very little
rust in the original floors. The hat channels amazingly have very
little if any rust. Major missing parts include rear tire carrier and
back seat. This is a very restorable jeep that would stand apart
because of its early production date. Email me if you would like
additional pictures. $6500obo Jesse”
