Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is fantastic example of the classic Willy`s Jeep. Spent it`s life in California and Arizona. Frame off restoration over the past five years to include suspension, axle’s front & rear, transmission, engine, brakes, brand new Pirelli Scorpion tires, new seats, fuel tank, filters, body is excellent. Converted to 12 volt system with alternator. New canvas top still in bag. Runs great, shifts great. Still needs a few minor details. “

Not the cleanest I’ve seen, but has restoration potential.
“I have the cleanest Original 1952 Willys M38 I ve have ever seen. It is still 24 Volt has a 1 1/2 rust spot on the passenger side and a little under the gas tank there is no rust on any c channel supports it runs and drives brakes work great. It has the original engine it has all the correct data plates it has a Clean title that match the vin and body plates I also have the original fuel pum with spacer and boltsp I also have a parts jeep 1952 M38 that I will throw in for a extra $1000 if you want it $5000.00 or OBO for any Question please call”

Looks solid. It appears to have a M-38 body and windshield.

All gauges except Tach & Speedometer are new also has a new battery both fuel tanks and radiator have been heat tanked and cleaned . This jeep is a must see come and look , buy and drive home !!!! Asking $3,950 obo. Mama says too many toy’s so need to sell my jeep Title is clean and Pink slip is in hand tags are good till April of 2015 ( this vehicle never needs to be Smoged )”

Ann and I took pictures of these in March during our trip through Western Colorado. That CJ-2A is a VEC with square bolt bow holders on the windshield.

“1946 ford GPW or jeep. Fresh rebuild on the drivetrain which is all stock. Starter freshly rebuilt. All paperwork for everything that’s been done.”

“Ford GPW, thought I would have the time to put it all back together, but haven’t.
Frame is a 1945 GPW- all repainted
Flat 4 engine was professionally rebuilt and hasn’t been fired
Nice tires
Seats are reupholstered
Have pretty much everything for a restoration, just need the time
Tub is 1947 Willys with not the greatest paint and body work
