About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Sam from Flatfender Willys is selling these jeeps as a $2000 package. Looks like a good price.
“Black Jeep – 1946 DOES NOT RUN. Aluminum Top in Good Condition Transmission, Transfer Case, Front and Rear differentials in good shape.
White Jeep – 1949 RUNS EXCELLENT PTO Winch, Body, Rough Engine and Drive Train Excellent
Combine the Two for a really nice jeep. $2000.00”
“– The coffee sign, the wrong spelling in English and really no meaning in Spanish (it should be café) – The top white sign saying “minutos” which means cell phone minutes. You basically pay a fee and you can use their cell phone for a call. Look the lady using the phone for a call. – Middle white sign which offers “Mazamorra”, a local dish that not everyone dares to try. Not that easy to find these days, and not really recommended if you have an afternoon full of things to do, most likely you will need a long nap after eating that. – Bottom sing “arroz con leche” which means rice pudding, sweetened to perfection. It can not be more Colombian than this!”
“i have owned this jeep for the past 16 yrs. but it’s time to let it go. jeep has 50 cal machine gun winter top windshield cover pioneer kit. also included is a 14′ trailer that i had made to transport the jeep.”
This has a dump bed. Blaine notes this is not a dually (I had mentioned I wasn’t sure).
“Early 60s jeep flat nose cab over FC 170 4WD, dump bed. Vehicle ran and moved last year, needs tune-up etc. body has some rust/rot, selling as project 1,800 OBO”
The side of this looks patched (with aluminum maybe?).
“1953 willys jeep. Body in decent shape, there is surface rust. Has not ran since early 80’s. But when it was parked it did run great. It comes with a plow. everything is original and if interested there are extra original tires. The soft top is worn but works. Would be a great project to restore or use for a plow truck. It only has 17,000 miles on it.”
“3 CJ2A projects. All are in need of restoration and are not drivable and do not run. 2 projects are pretty complete. All three for $2900. Contact John at (309) 2seven5-4nine67”
