“I have a 1947 Willys flat fender jeep for sale. Has the L134 flathead engine which runs good, vehicle does move and the brakes did work but don’t now. The frame is rough and the jeep will need a complete restoration or use for parts. I have a better frame that will go with it, plus some rolling axles. I bought the vehicle from New York and did not get a title. I have some paperwork from the seller including a old NY reg, bill of sale, and a vin tag but I don’t know if it will get a PA title. Looking to get $1500 OBO, or may trade for a utility ATV. I don’t want it to sit in the yard and rot out, can’t put it in the garage anymore.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
(04/22/2014) There may be some value here.
“Howdy Folks, Up for sale is two Willys Jeeps for parts, and a pallet of stuff. The red Willys is a 1947 CJ2A. It has a flat head 4. The other has a F head in it. Both don’t run. The pallet contains some covers for the gear shift, a few transmissions and transfer cases. Extra head (F head) wheels, brake parts, drums, ect.
The blue one’s frame is cut in the back and was made into some kind of doodle bug. It has a crazy super low range gear adaptor on it. I do not have registrations for either one. Just a bill of sale. The red one is fairly decent. It has a good frame and if you love it could be restored.
I am asking $1,800.00 for both including some spare parts. Both roll. Tires hold air. Both inside my barn. You can email or call me. Seven one six, five three seven, two three nine nine. PLEASE do not ask if I still have them, I will promptly remove the add once sold.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(04/29/2014) Is the doll on the dash extra? lol.
“1952 M38 true military Jeep. 40,000 original miles, converted to 12 volt, very good condition, repainted but not restored, new top & extra tires.”
Eric bought this DJ-3A in July of 2013. He describes the jeep he bought as a salad of jeep parts. He’s spent the last year transforming this rough jeep into a great looking parade and play jeep. Nice save!

Jim Allen, with some help from Bob Westerman, published an article in Four Wheeler about the MLW-2 vehicle.
