The auction for this GPW was May 31st. Maybe it didn’t sell? Never hurts to check. One pics has just the driver’s side fender in it.
It appears fairly stock. I can’t tell if the engine has been updated.
“This is a realy nice jeep for the mountains. the jeep has many new parts, it has new seats, top, tires, brakes, winch and much more. clean title.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4600.
There’s still some work to be done.
“Ok, lets try it again, I got stubborn with the previous $5000 because I was just going to finish the little things myself but have decided it needs to go!!
I am selling my rare 1945 cj2a. Just finished a complete repaint and was done very nice, new gauges and dash plates as well as all new cables. New windshield glass. New hood hold downs. New battery. New race lap belts. New led tail lights.
Has a full roll cage, I have the original style seats as well as aftermarkets that were there when I bought it.
Axles are dana 44 and dana 30. Ohhh….. It has a Chevy 350 mounted to a turbo 350!!! Dana 20 t case. Has tranny cooler. Aftermarket rear gas tank.
Front driveshaft is not hooked up and will need a joint shaft or clock the t case.
Running open headers right now. Sounds incredible.
Things that will need to be done to complete….
Bolt rest of cage
Tranny pan gasket has a leak
Mount battery under seat.
Wire lights/ turn signals if u want
Full Exhaust if you want
Mount original passenger seat or use the other ones
Those are the reasons priced so aggressive so already factored in the price.
Jeep is registered and good to go!!
Let me know if you have any questions,”
UPDATE: Still Available.
Looks in good shape.

There may be some value here.

“1951 CJ3a needs to go. I no longer have time to complete the project due to other family obligations.
Asking $1000 as I have at least that much just in new parts.
What I have:
1951 CJ3a – Serial number 451-GB1-29540. Build #19540 out of 44,158 units built that year.
NO TITLE. I checked with the Ga DOT and due to the age and state of repair, it can be re-titled with just a Bill of Sale.
Jason and his family enjoyed a family jeep outing last weekend.
He writes, “Last Saturday was our 4th annual family jeep rally through Parke County, Indiana (covered bridge capital). Attached are some photos for your use. The trip was a 30 mile round trip that took us through Bridgeton, IN. The Bridgeton Mill just happened to be making flour the same day. We anticipate twice as many jeeps next year to join in the trip. Each year we pick a different route that includes another bridge. We passed three on our trip this year.”
