About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This looks pretty good. It does have a few minor rust spots.
“I am the third owner of this 50 year old Colorado Willy with only 87k miles on it. Over 6k in work over the last 10 years covering paint, tires and rims, exhaust, complete brake replacement, interior, and glass. Flathead six with 3 speed and pto winch. Factory color is peacock blue and nada average retail is $10.240 . Ready to drive home today.”
“For your consideration, an nice 43′ Willys Navy Mb Jeep. Great start for a restoration. Frame and glovebox – Serial # 206293, 1-28-43 DOD. Excellent condition frame, requires only a couple of upper gussets and rear crossmember to be perfect. Never been plowed with.
Has original seats, dashboard, and accessories.
Engine is a later model replacement, but still has most of all the rare acessories on it. Appears to be a Navy jeep as there is grey paint is visible on the oil filter, and oil filler tube. The underhood wind deflector also is grey, as are other areas on the underbody and frame.
Front floors and passenger step need work, but the rest of the body is nice,. Been in indoor storage for the last 30 years.
Three combat wheels are on the jeep.
Axles and transmission have been checked, and the oils are like new”
It runs and drives, but the body has a few issues.
“1947 Willys Jeep Runs and drives great. Very minor rust by rear tail light and one small patch on passengers floor. Seat are in good shape. Four wheel drive works perfect. Fuel gauge does not work. Original 4 cylinder motor starts easily and runs smooth.”
The tub is supposed to be brand new. Not sure what’s in the back of it.
“I have a rolling chassis Willys cj2a. The tub is brand new with all of the right markings and stamps. I have a 4 cyl engine a transmission and two transfer cases. I also have numerous other random parts that are included in the price. I even have an actual pink slip weather you could get it to work with the new tub I don’t know”
“This is a one of a kind 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep that has undergone a true frame-off restoration. The engine, tranny, transfer case and axles have all been rebuilt, sandblasted and painted. The brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, fuel, seats ,wiring, light, weatherstrips and many other parts are brand new. Over a year was spent finding original Parts for this Willys. Every part is either new or rebuilt. This Jeep has highly detailed and the pride of building it really shows. Runs smooth and it is a blast to drive! There has only been 36 Miles put on the Jeep since built.”
This looks nice at first glance, but the gauges aren’t hooked up and the body is fiberglass.
“Older frame up restore but still in top condition. Runs perfect, drives perfect, always garage kept. You wouldn’t know your driving a 48 year old vehicle. Drives straight down the road. Does 62 MPH. Been to many shows. Always starts right up. Has silicone brake fluid (dot 5) so you will never have moisture in your brake system. Lined gas tank so you will never have a problem with that. Engine has less than 5000 miles on it since rebuild. Front oil seal will leak if it isn’t driven for a few months. Engine, trans., transfer case, and title are from 1964 jeep cj. Has lock out hubs on front axle. 4×4 works like it should. Using 12 volt system, gages are 24 volt so they are not hooked up. Have a mech. oil press. gage under the hood just to be safe. Original speedometer quit working at 35,000 miles so I put this one in and it quit working 200 miles later it reads 18,000 miles. Tub was replaced with fiberglass tub. Rear view mirror is cloudy so I have a clip on mirror over it in the photos. Top looks like it was rarely used it’s in great condition also and is simple to put on. Undercariage looks great. Tires are like new. Clutch works smooth. Trans. shifter feels solid. Gets compliments everywhere I go.”
“This Jeep is parts only,no title. Engine block and head, trans and transfer case, skid plate,e brake, drive shafts, front and rear axles springs and steering gear.guages and speedo are good.the drivers side fender is good.price is firm, its worth 375 as junk.Front tires do not go with the Jeep, but will use to load it.rolls good. military four wheel drive 1945 1946 1947 1948 1949 army willy willis t 90”
“1951 Willys Jeep with matching utility trailer
This has 4Wd with 2WD & 4WD lo and high. It is the flat fender model and shows 13K miles.
The 4.3L motor and 350 turbo auto transmission is similar to the 80’s moedl S10 pickup.
It has a carburetor and headers. We just replaced the automatic shifter.
The Jeep drives well and the drive train works properly.”
“This is a complete 1957 Willys Jeep that I have owned for about twenty years and have done nothing with it. So its time to sell. $550 any questions you can text me at four zero two 990 seven thousand.”
