Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Super Rare 1954 Willys Wagon 4×4. 1 ton axels, locker in the rear, full spool in the front. 39.5 Super Swamper Boggers, 350 crate motor. Hand Pinstriping. Painless wiring was installed this past winter. LED tail lights. New battery. New dual electric fans on the radiator. Gas can mounted on the passenger side and fake gas can/tool box on the driver side. The underside is undercoated. Some rust holes in the body, but it adds to the charm of this rig. The trucks gets looks everywhere I take it! I have it insured and drive it around town a few times a week. It only needs shocks , new passenger glass and passenger front glass to be finished. No tire kickers. No free rides. I hate to sell this monster but I have three other projects that I’m trying to finish. Asking $11,500. And please don’t try to low ball me. I have over $5,000 into the axels, tires and rims. Clean title in hand!!!”

(04/19/2014) The three data plates suggest this is a 1946.
“posting for my friend. 47 cj2a willys jeep. ran and drove but now needs carb gaskets and possibly a fuel pump. it has a 4cyl motor. full roll cage. decent 31 inch offroad tires. has som rust behind doors.. still very solid. good start for a restoration project. clean title in hand”

It is an exact replica built to scale with a 13HP Honda Electric Start Engine w/Hydrostatic drive w/Reverse. It has full lighting package and has many options that make it a special example of a real unit. It can have many uses from fun and parades to working around the yard. “1951 unrestored Willys Jeep, very complete and original project. Includes spare wheel, gas tank, gas can, better gauges, etc. Engine turns over and it is still original 24 volt. Solid body with minor damage.”

(05/05/2014) This is a flat head, but it still sticks through the hood.
“1948 Jeep cj2a, Flat head 4 cylinder, T90 three speed transmission, Spicer 18 transfer case, Dana 44 rear with gov, lock, 11 inch brakes and 5.38 gears, DANA 27 front with 11 inch brakes and 5.38 gears, GM steering conversion, Early warn upright winch works great, full soft top and doors(needs back window), bikini top, full family style cage, rear seat with tool box underneath, heater works, CB, 34×10.5 super swamper on weld wheels. Has a tow bar and spare parts motor tyranny transfer case, tail gate, fenders, and another set of 35 inch BFG mud terrains on wheels great tread but side walls are cracking from weather, Super fun to drive on the trail and around town on nice days. Not much rust but paint does have scratches from trail exploring. It is 68 years old. Needs passenger side glass.”

Lots of $$ in brand new parts (carb, distributor, starter, starter solenoid, plugs, wires, etc.
Jeep starts very easily. Runs strong. Transmission shifts as it should. 4wd works. No fluid leaks. Has a little smoke, but this is fairly common on these old flathead motors. Its a good jeep and a solid platform for a restoration. Has some rust, needs tierod ends and leaf spring bushings and a few other minor things.
$4,000 cash or trade for guns/atv’s”
