About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willys Wagon Project, a unique shortened rolling chassis and body with title. A great project as a one of a kind custom build or as a Rat Rod. Offers accepted.

(11/01/2012) The body and frame look good, but there is no engine or tranny.
“this a clean little cj3b. i bought it to build but have no time. the previous owner was converting to put a v8 or v6 in it. the body is cherry, no rusted floors. it does not have motor or tranny. the frame was taken apart and painted with the body off. he told me the brakes were rebuilt it has new universal joints. from what i can see it looks like the chassi is done. the body and paint are very clean. all you need to do is finish putting the motor and trans in and ad gauges and a wire kit. the wheels dont come with it. i have another set that came with the jeep when i got it. there’s allot of beat up ones out there that are allot cheaper but where are you gonna find one with a chassi all finished and a cherry body like this one.”
(12/07/2012) “Just found in a barn in Oregon – 1948 Willys CJ2-A Jeep. 32,000 original miles! 3 speed on floor. Has rear seat. No rust, no accidents, all there all original. Has top, bad plastic. Runs and drives puuurfect!”
The body has a top toll indent and a drain hole, but not fuel inlet. I’m going to guess there’s been some bodywork done.

No title and all apart. I see nothing to suggest a ’41. I like the rims.
“1941 Jeep Willys has motor and trans. Motor is out and in need of rebuilding, but is all there for the most part. Body is in decent shape for the year. No top. No title. $2000 obo or trade for small car must run and drive. For more info Call John at 502 three 9 six 2922. ”
Walter spotted this. Unclear how much value his here, but there appears to be some.
‘I have a 1947 Willys pickup, original, lacking tailgate, no title, and a 1977 J10 pickup with title, 6 cyl, 4 spd, 4.10 axles. I had planned on putting the Willys body on the J10 frame, and using that title, but I’m just not interested in doing projects anymore. Have too many, and its not fun like it used to be. I have not run either of them, so don’t know if they will or not. Not interested in trades or lowballers, or hearing a sad story about you not having the money.”
(09/17/2011) “I’m selling a 1947 flat nosed willys jeep. AS IS. Great project, has a PTO, factory installed from what I know and understand. Has a spare tire and rim. The floor pans are rough, the transmission is stuck in gear. Has new tires and a rebuilt engine.

I have no time to enjoy this awesome project Am asking $3,000 firm I live north of Boise Idaho by about 80 Miles”
I have this exact jeep (same numbers on the hood), though the box and top are long gone. My grandmother bought it for me and kept it in the toy closet. It jeeped the shag carpet of grandma’s house, which explains why mine is in great shape!
“You are bidding on a great Vintage Tonka Jeep, still in the box!! The Jeep appears to be in good shape. The box is in good shape for its age, although someone has written a name on one side of the box. It still has a great presentation side. This is the 10 1/2 inch version”
