Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Very early 1946 production column shift 2A. Serial number is 19006. Clear title. Engine turns over, have not tried to start it. Damage on the right rear corner and rust on the right side. Has original rear drive pto and the original rear gear reduction flat belt pulley drive.”

“!!! VERY RARE 1961 JEEP WILLYS FC150 4×4!!! Great Project for any TRUE JEEP Lover. This is a 1961 Jeep Willys FC150 4×4. This is a flat nosied jeep that was used mostly up North and not in the Florida area. You would have a very hard time finding this truck in Florida. I bought it from the original owner and had to have it shipped from South Carolina. This is a great truck which turns heads every time I open the Garage. Truck RUNS but needs body work, good solid wood bed. I bought the truck to restore it but have not had the time to put into it. This would be a great Ratrod Truck or restoration project. If you are looking for that one of a kind truck that everyone asks “What Is That” this is the one.”

The seller doesn’t mention it, but this is a blended body, most likely a CJ-3A with a M-38A1.

“It has a 3 stick 4-wheel drive, 229 Chevy V6, and 1-ton Timken rear axle. It has a sound body, with surface rust only, and includes the original wheels. It is licensed and titled. Runs good and is ready for restoration or whatever you like.”

Anyone ever see a data plate quite like the on on this jeep?
“1948 cj 2 willys jeep. Has a ford v6 ( I was told it is a 2.9 colgne but your guess is as good as mine). It appears to have stock trans, transfer case, and axles. I know the carb and battery are brand new (I put them on myself) It has a superwinch mounted up front (it works) and a tow bar also. Back bumper has a class 3 receiver. I also have a roll bar, full canvas with doors (in good shape) some assembly required.
I am not gonna blow a bunch of sunshine up your a$# and make a bunch of promises & guarantees… what you see is what you get! It does run and drive, but I would advise you (strongly) to bring a trailer.”
