Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Jeep Willy FC170 (Not sure ’58-’62). This truck is a project. Motor is from Kaisor Car – early 50’s. Big ticket needs are radiator & glass. I worked on this in the winter and now time to move it on. I have some parts to go along with – $3,000 As Is. Hope to be at the 2023 Spring Reunion in North Canton”

“This is definitely a project takeover Jeep that runs just needs a starter. Has a 6 volt system battery would need to be charged again as it’s been sitting for a while. The project was too much lot of sheet metal welding was done still a good amount needs to be done before the front for the most part it’s complete. The seats are newly reupholstered. Windshield is cracked. It’s an old Jeep Willy army vehicle. Come check it out if you’re interested and we will set up a time. Registration fees are due on it as seen in picture. Mileage is unknown currently but I just put 50,000 on it I’m sure it has about that in its lifetime from 1949”

“1947 Willys Jeep, complete with tow bar, will need some TLC, was used on farm property. Has battery, does run, not great, but does run. Brakes don’t work very well. Great project or trail rig with some work. 4 cyl engine and manual transmission”

Here’s another unusual brochure. It’s possible I have another somewhere else and just never posted it. The brochure is from W-10021.
This brochure appears to have been produced by Shaver’s Jeep Sales, meaning it was probably a product offered by this particular dealer. The appear to be replacement seat cushions?

“1960 Jeep FC-150 Brush Fire Truck was created by the Noble Township Volunteer Fire Department in Ohio in the late 70s. We bought the Jeep not running. We had a local shop (Wrenchers) clean the fuel system, install a gas tank, and service the brakes (6 years ago). The engine and drivetrain is overall stock/original and does leak a little bit of oil. The Jeep was lifted, with blocks, to deal with the larger tires and the off-road terrain it was modified to run on. We adapted an additional electronic fan to help with cooling during slow parade routes. All head/turn/running lights work, and the emergency lights and siren also work. Each of the 3 benches in the back has 3 seat belts, or two booster seats. This is the Only FC-150 I have ever seen with this type of cab/bed modification, and it is a blast to drive in parades and around town. Top speed is around 44 mph. Large dent on front driver corner shown in the last photo. No body/frame rot. Normal surface rust underneath”

“1952 M38, this Jeep is amazing shape originally from Alaska has the Arctic hard cab and gas heater, runs like new has most of original military components still intact, almost no rust, (surface mostly) has been converted to 12V at some point. Have clear CO title in hand. Runs Drives and Stops. Jeep can be driven as is ready to go.
