Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I found this interesting photo of Bennet Larson and a few others standing in front of a Keystone Automobile Club Jeep. Keystone was an automobile club that was absorbed into the AAA Mid-Atlantic in 1965. The photo was taken in/near Philadelphia. I imagine the jeep was used for helping stranded motorists or patrolling?

“Great Jeep. Everything runs great, it’s a lot of fun. Buick V6 engine, overhauled 3,000 miles ago. Off Road Tires in good shape. I drove it from Michigan to Arizona 2 years ago so that proves its reliability. I’ve re-built the brakes and added an 8k winch. Added a sound system and really nice speakers. It can be left as is or it can be restored to a more original look. Make an offer and ill consider. No Trades.”

I thought this looked interesting. It is a shortened truck on a CJ-6 chassis. Not a bad fit.
“1949 Willys pickup. Shortened 18″, on cj6 chassis, cj7 front and rear axle with all new brakes, rewired with LED tail lights, power steering, power brakes, tilt. Needs finishing and needs some carburetor work from sitting. Rims and tires pictured are not included.”

“1943 Ford army jeep with title. Truck was originally purchased after Korean War, painted red now its olive drab is peaking through. It has not ran in years but was parked due to grandpa passing. I want to trade this for a 1/2 ton short wheel base1947-55 chevy truck in an original state other words no v8’s subframes, etc. I want to keep it 6cyl and original front end.
