About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This ran just fine when the seller parked in eight years ago. It looks like a great price a parts FC. Unclear why the name “Patricia Cardran” is included in the picture.
“they made to models of these the FC-150 and FC-170 not real sure witch one it is. It is 4×4 and it will go anywhere when locked in. it has manual trans, 6cly flathead, we used it for hauling fire wood and it’ll hold around 2 cords of firewood. it has a large wooden bed on it that the boards are gonna need replaced. It will need work it would be a great restore project cause the parts are pretty cheap, last time I looked at a rebuild kit for the motor it was around 150.00. it ran just fine when I parked it about 8 years ago. I do have the title for it also if you have any question call or text me at 240-522-two87one NO EMAILS”

(09/02/2012) This has a replacement body. It looks like a nice rig.
“Very Nice 1947 Willys cj2a. I did a full body restoration in 2004, no corners were cut. The body is solid steel, built in the 70’s after market, The person that had it was going to build a Jeep but never got around to it, it sat in his building for over 30 years, when I bought it, it was solid, no rust and still in factory primer. I striped it down to bare metal, nothing but the best primers and sealers were used under the base coat clear coat paint. PPG.
The engine had just been rebuilt right before I bought it and it runs great, I did tear it down and put in a new rear main seal, its like new inside.
The transmission and transfer case are in perfect running order, both rear ends are in perfect running order.
The breaks are orig drum breaks and work good, it may need a new break light switch from just sitting in the garage so much.
It has brand new modern wiring with a painless wiring harness and has been converted to a 12 volt system. New gauges. New full roll cage.
It has new bucket seats with a 5 point seat belt harness on each seat. The wheels and tires are new. The steering wheel is new.
I have only put 1902 miles on this Jeep since the restoration and it has only been caught in the rain one time. No top, no wipers, only driven on sunny days.
I have put over 1000 manual labor hours into the restoration, a real labor of Love!!!!! Its like New!!!!
If you have questions you can call me, PH# 330-257-3933 I will be camping over Labor Day weekend and may be out of cell service, just leave me a message and I will call you right back…… Thanks!!!”
(09/12/2012) This looks solid, though it has dents on the passenger side. Seller is moving and must sell.
“1953 Willy’s CJ3B jeep, original F head engine, 6 volt electric system, runs great. Transmission pops out of second gear on deceleration but works fine otherwise. Moving out of state and can’t take it with me. Asking $7500.00 obo.”
Yep, I’ve pulled out some confetti to celebrate the ten millionth page view, which occurred at approximately 11:50PM September 14th PST. To give a little context, every time a web page on eWillys is viewed, my webhost software records it. The count began January of 2008. It has taken over 4 1/2 years to reach ten million, with most of that coming in the last two years. I’ve been watching the numbers closely over the last few months, waiting for the final day to arrive.
Ok, that’s enough celebrating. The next milestone should be hit sometime around Halloween when I put up the 20,000th post.
